Thanks for the reply, I'm in the UK, and as you know we are not really meant to be growing, it is winter here at the moment, so it's quite cold, and the extra heat from the tent will show on the windows if a police helicopter is having a look about

Also, the way I understand thermal cams, they scan for heat sources (at least that's what the pix always look like). And a 400W grow isn't likely to make much of a footprint? I may be wrong on this, just common sense/gut feeling speaking here

Absolutely! I'm in a similar boat. 2 plants inside in a 1x1x2m tent. Only the wife knows about it and she's more paranoid about it than me. I don't care if I get caught, it's all for me anyway. I order lots of stuff from the internet, so it wasn't unusual for me to get boxes in the mail. All super discretely packed, no problems. I even had to return a carbon filter once, just dispatched it from the local post office, no problem lol.
Of course, I'm just a happy-go-lucky 2 plant closet grower with practically zero paranoia
I just don't talk to anyone about it. Instead, I call it my indoor living soil project, and talk about that haha
Police are fuckers, they go into major detail trying to catch growers, they look for slight heat differences in the rooms, then go to electric company's, and with the smart meters they can see the spike with 18 on 6 off, BUT I thought fuck it, and have built a room inside a room, in a grow tent

Door coming off is not nice sound, especially if it's early in the morning, then your twisted up and cuffed in your own home and then strip searched back at the station lol. After all that they're nice. They can be cunts and take phones, laptops etc.

Yeah actually I'd seen different pix of what they apparently see, so I was surprised - I'll go look for a pic tonite.Checkout that vid, it shows you exactly what the cops see. If you are worried about the heat signature you will create, disperse it before it becomes visible to them so it looks like general household heat leaving the house. Don't vent it out a window in winter because you will stick out like dogs balls. Everyone else is trying to capture heat and hang on, who's this muppet venting it straight out a window?
