Storing clones for extended periods of time.

First time posting to a forum so forgive me if my etiquette is wrong. Im launching a website where i will be selling clones and im trying to figure out a way to store clones that are rooted in plugs for extended periods of time. Does anybody know a way to do this? Or will i have to constantly take fresh clones and get rid of old ones? I read up about trimming roots but wasnt really sure if that's a good idea. Any responsed would be much appreciated

I know that if you keep young wheatgrass in a cooled area, around 45-50F I think, it slows the growth quite a bit while still keeping the plant alive. It's probably not meant for extended periods of time, and I'm not sure if this will work with cannabis, but it might steer you in the direction of more possibly useful information. Hope you figure it out, nobody likes shitty clones in the mail, good luck!
