Storing Large Amounts of Bud Secretly

Hi I am new here, and I was wondering if I could have some advice. I know someone who wants to store about a pound of bud, under the ground in a secret hole, and keep it fresh while opening and closing it about 12 time over the period of a maximum of 1 month.

I was thinking of pelican cases, storm cases or seahorse cases, with the bud inside the case split into airtight bags.

The goal is to minimize smell while keeping it fresh, in other words he doesn't want anyone to know about this

just go with it. Ball glass jars, inside case, for style.
plant annual rye grass, quick growing.

I don't care about how many clicks that site gets i'm on a forum about weed talking about how to store a pound.

He's also worried also about police dogs does anyone know a way to throw them off if they were to arrive?

I thort maybe he could literally submerge the case in water? Surely that would throw them?

foodsavers are great for keeping weed fresh and hides smell...but this is pointless since he is going to be needing to open it.

i heard dogs cant sniff up high. it was an ex DEA agent explaining ways on how NOT to get busted with marijuana. i didn't know dogs can't sniff up high. he also said if you have cats it is a good thing cause dogs can be easily distracted by their scent.
traveling with alot of weed? put a cat in the car with you. WHAT cat likes to cruise in cars? anyways to avoid dogs i wouldnt bury the shit in the ground. got any trees around? maybe raise the shit in a camo bucket or something?
