Storing pH water?

Just Let Me Be Faded

I premixed my nutrient and regular pH'd water in gallon jugs. I go to water this evening and an awful smell is coming from the pre pH'd water jug.. Is this water ok to use? What causes this? I'm curious

Bacteria.

I put 1-3 drops of bleach from a pipette after mixing, and store in a cool dark place. I run sterile so if you are using bennies then do not use the bleach. I store no longer than a month.

FFOF medium and FF nutes

I do passive hydro where bennies are not needed as long proper root temps are maintained. Bennies fight bad organisms, and break down composted soil nutes for root uptake.

I would not take a chance with that smelly water unless that's normal for FF nutes?

How long stored, and did light hit it?

The FF nute that I premixed is perfectly fine.. no smell at all
I guess I'll just have to mix water every fucking day :joint:

Oh that's right it was just the ph water. I would not use that.

Just mix your stuff, and store it in a cool dark place. Use it within a month.

At least keep your jugs sanitary.

The reason people are pushing airstones is because the bad bacteria do not like an oxygen rich enviroment, while bennies, and roots do.

Google "anaerobic bacteria".
