Ok here in (state i shall not mention), we have been gettin alot of water latly. LIke i mean heavy downpoors with lighting, wind, ect... I just planted today and i let the rain water my "babies". Tommorow is supposed to be severe weather again. but clear for 3 days then more rain. Should i cover them up someway. I can probally make something to cover them up. How much water is to much.

That sound's like to much..........
I wish you luck.
I wait till after May 24 to plant just in case of frost or torrential spring rain.

K ty. I wanna start them now. I think ill make a clear cover out of plastic and put it on 4 steaks then stretch it over them so i they wont get rained out. And i dont think its gonna frost anymore. :)

After they get bigger this shouldnt be a problem, Mine take beatings all the time, but they have came threw very nicely, thick stems, and green leafs from the Nitro rain : ). But yeh as a seedling that might be a bit to much rain : ) perhaps you should add alot of perlite to your soil, this should drain alot of the water, if you cant build some sort of cover for it.

as long as your plants arent stretchy i would say they should be fine, plants have bean getting rained on for bigillions of years, though if your worried cut the bottoms off of 2 liters or just 20 ounce bottles and put them over your babies, with the caps off, that will alow a little water in but for the most part keep them safe from the heavy stuff, hail and wind too. whatever doesn't kill them will make them stronger, but outdoors you won't have to worry about too much rain unless it becomes standing water and floods your plants for several days, the world drains better than 5 gallon buckets do so you should be fine.
