Strain Recommendations Please

Looking for some input on stain recommendations please. First and Foremost I'm looking for a Musty tasting and smelling strain. Nor very concerned with yield just trying to pinpoint a specific taste I enjoy. In the past, every time I have smoked good grown bud from the North west (specifically Seattle) its got an amazing taste, very musky and quite earthy. Not sure if it has to do with the higher humitity or damp growing conditions but, its really amazing and I am hoping its strain related not geographic growing conditions.

Looking forward to everyone's opinions.

Sounds like you kinda want a moldy bud, you want earthy woody, try a himalayan landrace, RSC provides real land races some super huge Nada Devi, try Garhwali shiva. Get prepared for many Phenos though most of it isn't a stable strain but I believe they have what you are looking for.

Peace

Thanks man!!! Defiantly not looking for a moldy bud, but possibly on the cusp!!! Smoked many strains in my days but the musty one's really stand out. I have some violator K and Williams Wonder going, but pretty sure its not going to give me that musty taste. Again thanks for the info on Garhawali, Ill check it out.

musty taste? interesting, and have no experience with this flavor
but the description did trigger a memory, nirvana used to carry something called Misty
i think it still lives in a rebred version called Medusa
the description sounds close to yours, but that's just my best of memory

I am not at all sure what you mean by "Musty"...Breeder's Boutique has a great strain, "Psycho Killer" that they describe as having a "Fusty" smell...I put some in zips a couple of weeks ago...It's not exactly old time Skunk smell...I guess "Fusty" is as good a word as any...IT IS KNOCKED OUT WEED...It's F3 form, good yield...Haze type stone...Subcool's Jack The Ripper x Deep Psychosis...I have clones going again and the price was right, $40/ ten reg beans and they throw in good freebies, Casey Jones in my case...FWIW

I grew out a kannibia BCN Diesel freebie a couple years ago. It got me really high and it was a beautiful bushy pheno. Only thing I didn't like was the taste... Very musty and dirty tasting, kinda sounds like what you want. I'll never grow it again, hated the taste, but to each their own. I really liked the taste of the royal queen seeds, Ice!

Yeah I think a Musty taste is not everyone's cup a tea, but I have always liked it whenever I came across it!!! Back in the early 80s when I was in college in Hawaii, a lot of the Kona starins had a earthy, fruity, musty taste. Pretty much thought it was the Lava based soil but quite a lot of the Hydro from Seattle has a similar taste.

Hoping the Violator Kush has a earthy tone to it, cuz I have some nice lady's going. I know Williams wonder well, have been growing it for decades but far from earthy just one of my favorite strains.

Thanks for everyone's input... Keep em coming!!!
