Looking for a strain(s) known or said to help diabetics. Could really use some help on this! Any & all info will be appreciated.
So, like, nausea/stomache related stuff or what? What is it specifically they need help with? 60/40 and 50/50 hybrids usually work well as general purpose medication, but my patient with nausea issues gets better relief from strong sativas than strong indicas.Looking for a strain(s) known or said to help diabetics. There is absolutely nothing about marijuana or any of its byproducts known to "help" diabetics do anything other than get stoned, relieve nausea, relieve glaucoma. It will do nothing to stimulate your endocrine system to produce insulin or to regulate your blood glucose levels. Your diabetes educator has certainly made you clear on the need for frequent blood glucose checks and coverage with the insulinLooking for a strain(s) known or said to help diabetics. Yeah, the nausea etc. Just watch my fam go through a rough patch figured we could find somthing to calm it a bit. Your reply makes me think it could be a personal thing & he'll have to search for what works for him. I think we'll start with a hybrid known to help nausea....Respect Brother Clankie +RepSo, like, nausea/stomache related stuff or what? Exactly! We ate went to the store, on our way there he said he felt bad & had to take a piss 10 min after we got back he got real sick etc. He's pretty good with what he eats from what i know. Thanks Althor. I had no idea what he was going through & I'm only gonna ask a grown man twice if he's alright, if he's good you let him deal with his. It was hard though!Actually, as a type 1 diabetic and having read some research on MJ affects, it does help bloodsugar. One of the reasons you get the munchies is because it lowers blood sugar and you crave sweets to bring it back up.That is my main smoking times is a few hits after I eat. It helps curb the spike from a meal, although I eat what I am supposed to eat anyway in portions I am supposed to be eating them. Its not going to be much, but it does help in conjuction with proper medication and eating habits.
Thanx grapes. I'm a hit up meduser. BlessUp1if nothing else, a good EUPHORIC buzz whether it be stoney, middy or a high, at the very least could help with, um the DEPRESSION of having diabetes! life threatening diseases aren't exactly known for lifting spirits and if i remember right, you test for insulin levels daily or even more with needles. that could downright maddening to deal with not to mention having to schedule your life around it.
hey, no problem. i really should read up on best med use strains as generally people just drop the word meaning indica and stone. kali mist is supposed to really help with menstrual cramps for example. i would imagine it's crazy levels of euphoria taming the inner, um, "unhappy woman" when a woman has her monthly visitor from mars. maybe all that energy encourages them to have sex too which i think is supposed to help with cramps too.Thanx grapes. End your search now regarding marijuana and diabetes if it is blood glucose you are attempting to influence or control. Diabetes is a serious disease.
33+ years as a degreed medical professional and still practicing you dumb fucking mutt. And you?what the eff? "give up your search"? so you're a medical doctor now? i don't know anything about it myself. maybe there's pain involved. i was just stopping in to say the best place to ask is in the med use forum. if overeating is a problem with diabetes, haze x skunk is an excellent appetite suppressant. i lost 10 pounds on it in a month.
try asking the question in the med use forum and be specific about what symptoms you want to treat.
not a fan of anyone giving orders.
I am assuming this poster is in need of accurate and safe information when it comes to dealing with an extremely serious disease, pinhead. And if not for them then for anybody else with questions regarding treatment of diabetes.you're making the assumption that the OP is a doctor or something. it's a regular person asking for help. they might only know the specifics of what causes the problem, how to treat it with traditional medications (by the way, which are REALLY actual cures as how can you get repeat customers if you can't keep making them sick? ever see the laundry lists of disclaimers for any med?) and what it's symptoms are from experience and i'm positive there has to be some kinds of symptoms. the OP is probably even less knowledgeable about what med use could do to help and which strains have the right THC & canniboid balance to help with the symptoms. you're ASSUMING they were asking specifically about their blood glucose level when it's merely someone suffering asking for help. someone with the same problem that a med user would know best how to SUPPLEMENT their corporate medications which are often BS. i've been on pain meds before myself and they do virtually nothing for me, so don't put ALL of your faith in corporate medications. they're not in the curing business, they're ion the money making business. if everyone gets cured, they're out of business.
