Strain, "Santa Cruz"?

I'm from Santa Cruz, and I know of Santa Cruz Haze (one parent of Blue Dream), Santa Cruz Kush, Santa Cruz OG, and I think I saw a Santa Cruz Diesel once too. Pretty sure they're mostly just strains from long time local growers who have shared cuts with friends. Then there's also this: http://www.highestseeds.com/santacruz

I have been reading around and a lot of strains have originated in Santa Cruz. They pop up all the time. Hell theres hippies that have been growing in the county since the 70's you would be surprised what kinds of strains you can find with names and histories relating to the nice little city we have. PJ - My friend grew out SC Diesel that he got as a clone from the club that closed down that was near dominican(I can't remember the name for the life of me). It wasn't anything I would recommend unless you like a fast paced sativa high(not a good one imo but I guess he could have pulled it early or something)

That place was called Creme de Canna. The place wasn't too bad, or too good really either. I got a White Berry clone from them last year that turned out shitty.

Yup, hippies been growing here for a long time. I got some pics of me as a kid next to some plants back in the 70's, lol.

my friend was walking on a trail in the 70s between felton and santa cruz on the highway and he jumped over a log to an old dirty hippy wearing camo with a double barrel right in his face, and yeah creme de canna thank you - I never got any really "High quality" anything from them, but they did charge top shelf prices, BS

The only strain i've ever heard with the name santa cruz in it was the "santa cruz kush/O.G." I had a buddy grow it out and it's really nice, very unuiqe taste to it & packs a good punch.
Another popular strain from S.C. is haze .
