Strains for 2019?

Hello I am looking for strains to grow in the 2019 outdoor season. Ideally it would have a long steady veg and a shorter flower around 60 days or so. Also in an area with relatively high humidity and 40-50 inches of rainfall per year. Any strains you can recommend would be highly appreciated. Probably going to pick up any useful fems, cool creek fems and some autos, will take my chances with a longer flower but trying not to. Not looking for anything too expensive.

When I was living in Northern Illinois I would do commando grows out and in corn fields, hot summers, high humidity and late Sept was always rainy and sometimes frost hit by last week of Sept - 1st wk of Oct.

I tried growing indoor strains and they typically didn't perform as good as strains designed for outdoor. And for those strains Canada is boss.

My buddy grew both Manitoba poison and lethal purple by Great white north seeds back in 2004 and those were both midsized 5-6 feet tall, very hardy and finished by end of Sept. Both were very nice tasting and good high. Those strains are still available along with a few others.

You can find GWN seeds at hemp depot, they're solid I just ordered HSO black dog from them in July no issues. I think the seeds are only $40 a pack.

Also you can email peakseedsbc and tell him your growing conditions and he'll give you the best selection he has for that environment.

You shouldn't be disappointed in any outdoor strain from these two companies.

Thank you for the reply, I will look into those strains, northern Illinois sounds like my area so seems promising. Was also considering dutch passion outdoor strains, If they can grow in northern Europe they should do fine here.

I've grown some dutch passion strains in the past, blueberry and skunk, both in 2002-2004 but haven't ran anything of theirs since expect their blueberry again in 2010 and it was just not the same as it used to be.

Take a look at early bird and eki bird from vashon seed at jbc.

I have grown early bird. Shorter plants, very indica. Flowers early so it's done early. Doesn't like to be topped, but needs regular thinning. Not topshelf indoor, but a hardy old school outdoor plant.

After the rainy season last year I know that i will only grow Sativa outside. They take a while to finish but wow are they nice when grown under the sun.

Malawi X Panama (Ace) 2
Kwazulu (world of seeds) 1
Solstice (equinox seeds coco melon--chocolate thai X Cannelope Haze) 1

I will run 4. I will be done my 2nd indoor run of the year in time.

Trainwreck does really good outdoors in SC, NC, VA, TN, WV, KY

If anyone knows any other good strains that do well in these parts of the states let me know

I have three of the arcata trainwreck crosses from cannaventure, I was worried about the long flowering time since sativa dom but they were much hyped and at a steep discount.
