I wanted to know are there any hardy strains that the seedlings will not be burned by ffof. Also is it possible to grow from start to finish without nutes extra nutes using that soil.

You'll get a lot of opinions on this one. I always use FFOF to some degree or another and personally I don't think it's too hot. I don't start in it but I transplant right into it. It kinda depends on what you are doing, container size, strain of plant, how big of plants you want, etc., but you might be able to go start to finish in it with no nutes.

The only strain ive done in fox farm ocean forest was a afghan kush Ryder from world of seeds, shit was a freebie and gave me some dank. If you like autoflowers I'd swoop a pack of that up

Im actually selfing a afghan kush ryder. Thanks for saying its good smoke ive never smoked it just seemed like the best auto I had in my seed collection to try and get tons of seeds from......and to OP I have started seeds straight in ffof and clones straight into it all my plants are lovely and they just require water that auto in my pic is the selfing experiment and its in straight ffof with perlite mixed in only been getting tap water

I use ffof and it has never burned my seedlings. I wouldn't try not using nutes and just relying on the soil. Your grow will be impacted in a negative fashion if you starve your fucking plants.FFOF has about 3 weeks worth of food.

I've started seeds in FFOF Soil without burning, also planted clones of different ages/sizes with no problems. I do mix in perlite and a little dolomite lime. After I fill my holes or pots I usually give it one good drench before planting.

I do everything from seedlings on in FFOF. I've never had a burning issue with any of them so far. I do use lots of perlite ( 30-40%)
FFOF is hot enough to run by itself for a few weeks but you'll want to add some grow nutes then flowering nutes something like 2 weeks after flipping to 12/12
But I always use nutes at half strength no matter what kind it is.
