strains that root in 2 weeks?

I cannot clone period! I have tried several strains with various methods and my sucsess rate is deffinatly less then 50%.ide probly say like 30%. This sickens me! I want a 3 week perpetual. Rite now I am useing a 24 site diy areocloner with jump start in my res. Clones sit there weeks and weeks and only a few root. They r all still healthy and green with very little yellowing by the time I give up and cut a new batch for the same fairure. Perhaps genetics? I'm running big bang, twista 108, church,TGA 3D and violtor kush. I have had no sucsess with the VK. I have had the VK inthe cloner as long as 7 weeks and no roots. 7 weeks and Still very green and healthy, jus no roots. Any1 have experience with these strains? I want to run aperpetual but nvr get enuff clones to root and end up flowering these hacked up moms and starting over.
 
I feel your pain bro; I'm batting 1,000 at cloning - 100% suckage. I bought a GroClone machine so we will see if I can make that work. Two weeks and no roots really sounds like it might be the strain. If you have several strains and they are all doing it, I would try Clonex, make sure you are going right by the directions and give it another go. Best wishes.
 
Thanx man. Any1 else know about these strains or any others that take 2 weeks? I hear ppl sayin 6 days and shit, what r those? I'm on 14 days out of 23 of them 1 has roots, like 6 has nubs forming and the rest r the same when I cut them
 
Any1 else got a fast rooting strain? At this point I don't care about potency or yeild. Anything I better then nothing

hey i got a church and slh goin atm and they both clone real ez my slh rooted in bout a week
 
It's not the strain that's the problem, somthing is 'off' in your cloning process. I've only grown 6 strains so far, from sativas to indicas, and they all rooted in 7 days or less(some in 5 days). I use peat pellets though, so I'm afraid i can't help you with the aerocloner. Sorry man. If you want to give soil a shot, let me know and I can set you up sweet, and you'll have rooted clones in less than 10 days. :)

(rockwool would probably work the same)

I soak rockwool cubes in a gallon of water with a few drops of Superthrive overnight.

Then use a good rooting hormone and apply thick on the stem of the clone. I use ALOT.

Then I throw the clones in the humidity dome under flo's.. until I see roots.

99% success rate. Make sure the room is warm...


I have grown out MANY strains, never had a problem.

I've tried soil, tried rockwool. They jus end up dying. I made the cloner cuz its supossedly 100% and I got sik of babysitting and pampering them just to die after 2 weeks. The cloner keeps them alive with less work.
 
Have you tried peat pellets(Jiffy pellets)? I've had 99% success with those, and find them to be very reliable and easy to work with.
 
Supersilver haze from greenhouse roots in five days garanteed. Easiest plant I ever grew. I been taking clone off of clone for almost a year. Had it rooting in just cups of water under my eaves outside. That took maybe 10 days to root. I had some cloning problems for awhile now I use promix , peat pellets worked good also. Get olivias gel and promix or peat pellets and you will succeed.
 
Northern Lights. My particular Pheno has roots by 10 days. I make 30 every 6 weeks. 99% success rate.

here is your answer,how about posting everything you do & see if someone can figure it out? since you are cloning hydro,you need to know PH,temps, feeding of the mother before taking a clone,light type,rooting hormone used ect.
 
I wouldnt say its the strain i have had problems with aerocloners, i went back to using rockwool and have a approx 98% success, i have cloned just about everything you can imagine from WW,NYD,PPP,SS,Ice,Chrystal, i cant say every variety but alot i would say around 30 different strains Sativa's, Indica's and a mix of the both and peat pellets and rockwool IMO is the best way to clone, I use Olivia's cloning gel and 1" rockwool in a tray with a 1/2 of pearlite at the bottom of the tray 7" dome humidity 100% in 5-7 days alot of roots then transfer the 1" into a 3" rockwool cube and home free or clonex and peat pellets
 
What about useing a root gel with my cloner? Would it just wash off and become wasted $? What if I let them soak in a cup of root gel over night? Any help at bringin my root rate to 60%+ would be great, 80%+ would be awesome and would give rep. 100%, ill suk ur dik! Haha jk, but plzzzzzz help!

I'll give you my tips...
-Make sure you take clones a couple hours after you water your mother...
-Cut your clone put it in your water/mix as fast as possible.....then cut it again at a 45% angle UNDER WATER!!!
-Spray the leaves as many times as needed a day/or keep the humidity high....
