Haha no problem man glad I could help a bit it's not a very big problem tho they say when a plant is done growing end of its harvest it will start growing new growth (foxtailing) lots of people don't harvest till it foxtails. But it's all on the growerLook exactly like foxtaling at this point i will raise the light a bit nothing else i can do ac running max anyway My bud where not very dense so i take the extra yield And keep this one for My self ....thx rdale
No, it is not. Landraces have a tendency to fox-tail, but they are not a common strain for people to grow as they are very difficult and don't produce a lot.Foxtailing is mainly genetic. Try a different strain next time.
Are you saying that your plant is growing better where the fan isn't hitting it? The reason I ask is because I think I'm having the same problem. I've started turning the fan off in intervals now instead of fan full time because I think the constant blow of cool air (a/c is on in the house) is slowing down the grow process. Did you figure it out? Foxtailing is def not my problem, mine haven't started flowering yet.i have a plant like that, exactly like that lool... i have it right under a fan blowing on her, but what i noticed is that the part that is not getting to a part of the plant is growing better and looking normal-ish... so im kinda new t othis experience aswell, hope someone can clear this for us.. thanks for poisting as I will learn from it to... =)

Yes where the fan barely hits is where I see normal growth. But under the other fan I have a blue dream and that one is doing great. I have that fox tail looking plant which is called white knuckles from seed. I have 2 more going next to it and those look perfect. Are you saying that your plant is growing better where the fan isn't hitting it? The reason I ask is because I think I'm having the same problem. So you don't have one fan blowing on all of them? Do you have several fans blowing from different directions? I think that's what made mine start actually budding. For two reasons, I'm a noob is not one of them. One reason is my plants weren't getting absolute dark for ther 12/12 and they were getting full fan all day. Since I'm only growing 4 inside plants in one grow space, I only need to make sure the hot air is exhausted out the top. Three days ago, I made sure they weren't getting any light and I keep the fan off when they are sleeping. I've finally started seeing buds, 17 of them actually. This is my first indoor grow so I'm excited. Can you tell me your fan setup?Yes where the fan barely hits is where I see normal growth. genetics does directly cause fox tailing even when environmental conditions are fineGenetics play a very small roll in this effect.
Hi GHB, a man after my own heart. I use to love that stuff.i would hazard a guess that is to do with environment, slightly over fertilised and getting cooked under the light. it is hard to tell not seeing the room/plants in person though.
i call it foxtailing too, just keep them as healthy as possible as long as possible until they stop growing, you can end up with some monster nugs when they just keep stacking up, like little fingers of dank
