Strange Duel Buds - Question

I have 3 3rd gereration GSC plants that came from the same mom and 1 of the plants has a lot of duel buds
(why 1 of 3?). The prior generations had no duel buds. Also I have both versions of Cherry Pie and the CP that leans more toward Og also has duel buds but not as many as the GSC. The fourth picture is the CP the other pix are the GSC.

This is not the result of topping as they were topped long before the buds grew out and they come out of a single stem like a Y shape. I have grown many plants over the years and I have never seen anything like this with my grows and the grows posted here at Rollitup. Anyone seen this before and do you know the cause of this?
Are these rare genetic mutations?

They are hang drying now so
I will post pics here of the trimmed duel buds in 3 - 5 days.

That is from someone brushing by the plants with upper clothes on so
before harvest for a few days on and off I took the fibers off with tweezers and a 10x loupe.
Was a hassle but well worth it.
Thanks a lot for the link and the heads up!
Oh yeah, don't brush by your budding plants or let anyone else.

Anyone experience duel buds?

If I'm reading and understanding correctly I'm leaning towards mutation
cause there is no random mating
such as in polymorphism. These generations I have are clone only and there has
been no mating thru the generations.

Polymorphism[1] in biology occurs when two or more clearly different phenotypesexist in the same population of a species—in other words, the occurrence of more than one form or morph. In order to be classified as such, morphs must occupy the same habitat at the same time and belong to a panmictic population (one with random mating).

My World of Seeds NLXBIGBUD auto female had alot of mutations and duel top was 1. I never questioned why because it was an auto and I know those run a risk of showing u something you don't expect.

So obviously plant mutations can abound whether from seed or from clones.
For the first time and as of now I like mutations!

Mutation. I've had many strange things happen to my plants, which are mostly from seed. One that occurs frequently during the mid summer involves the plant growing so rapidly that mistakes occur during cell division. One suck plant started very poorly, barely surviving. It had three main branches. Two developed normally, while the third mutated into 3leaf nodes, and then to four and fives leaves per node. At that point, it split into three branches which all reverted to normal two leaf nodes. That plant ended up being a heavy producer. It originated as landrace from the hash fields of Afghanistan. I've kept it 'pure' for over a decade.

if there clones then they should all be the same unless the 3rd gereration GSC mom plant was a seed? like veggiegardener ive had the same thing with the 3 nodes on some branchs and some branchs are normal 2 nodes and also my leafs split so i have 5-15 hand leafs(master og) neverhad the 1-3 buds on the master. I have had 1-3 buds on grape ape/gdp/mendo purps, mostly purple plants.
