Hi there
I am very new to growing
My first two plants dont seem to be doing so badly, however there are some concerns iIwould like to clear up.
My lowryder 2 started flowering just before week 4 but since then the top part of the plant has shot up and many leaves growing all squashed up at the bottom of the plant, it all looks a bit abnormal to me.
My blue cheese also has this squashed up look at the bottom of the plant, but otherwise it looks more normal and hasn't started flowering yet.
Here is my lowryder
Then blue cheese

Any comments advice or tips would be much appreciated

something isn't right. at 38 days, auto or not should be a lot bigger than that. I suspect they got stunted through some actions, may it be over watering or another factor. I call that bean stalking and is often related to over watering. Often causes of over watering is a pot that is just too big for the plant, and those pots look rather large for those plants. They should be in a solo cup still at that size, maybe a one gallon pot max to cut the amount of waterings down. A small plant in a large pot will need water less frequently than in a small pot or a proper sized pot.

If you were worried about transplanting an auto flower and that is why you planted them in such big pots right out of the gate, You can transplant autos just fine. When they are growing correct, you should be up potting rather quickly. For me its usually every 14-20 days they have out grown their pot. I up pot 3 times, solo cup>3/4 gallon>1.5 Gallon>3gallon final pot. What soil are you using? I use coco which makes life way easier than soil, but does require a few extra minutes to mix nutrients. But coco takes the guess work out of what is in the pot/medium.

Thanks so much for taking a look.

I'm using a light mix nutrient soil from the local market and have been using advanced nutrients since week 4.
Yes that was exactly the theory behind the large pot.
What can I do right now to help the two bigger plants?
I will transplant my smaller two into smaller pots and see if that boostes their growth to normal rates. Any transplanting tips or warnings?
What also may have stunted the growth is very hot humid conditions, I have installed two fans only this past week.
