Strange Leaves?

Hey guys, so I started my first grow a little over 2 weeks ago and everything seems to be going fine, although I feel like some of the leaves are showing odd shapes and strange edges, does this look like anything to anyone? thanks in advance!

it is probably the first signs of deficiency or ph fluctuation
I'm going to start nutes on Monday and have been using bottled water, which recently I've switched to a different brand, no doubt differing in PH. Is this easily overcome?

Thanks for your reply mate

Save yourself some money on water and use what comes out of your faucet. Unless you live next to a nuclear power plant it'll be fine. If your growing in any decent potting soil PH isn't much of a concern either, the lime in it will keep the ph where its supposed to be.

I am guessing you do not have a ph meter? Get one they are less than $10.00 USD on ebay all day long. Most bottled water will ph at 7.0. so if that is all they have had, fluctuation is likely not the issue.

1st how far from your canopy is the HPS? What are your temps? What soil are you using? Have you given them any feeding at all? How much and how often are you watering?...and lastly, If you want the best opinions you should turn off your HPS before taking a pic.

Thanks for the reply mate,

My HPS is a little over a metre above the canopy, I switched over to this from a 300w CFL. it stayed around 70-79 before I flicked the HPS on an now it's at around 80. I'm using full mix canna soil and have only been giving them water. I will start nuting on Monday. also, I water daily using 3-4 [20ml] syringes as the soil always seems to be dry when I return to check.

80ml 0f water...is about 3 ounces of water in non-metric countries. At 2 weeks they could handle more but I don't thoink that is the issue...

Canna Pro Plus? If so, that is a seed starter medium and needs to have nutes added after about a week. I am assuming (and hoping) you have a knowledge of what nutes you are using and schedules for them??

I will give a little more water during its next watering then if they'll take more, also I have a friend who is guiding me through the feeding process and he has said we'll start nutes on Monday. Is this leaf condition reversible and will it jeopardise the rest of the grow? Thanks again mate

I see nothing that cannot be corrected with proper care. Cannabis is extremely resilient, the longer I am a member of RIU the more examples of that fact I see. You would not believe what some people do to their plants and they still survive and produce. Just remember though it's resilience comes into play as far as the plant surviving damage. The damage may still cause shock, stunting, lack of trichome and THC production, less swelling of the budz and overall yield. It is a law of nature that is unavoidable...for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. But, learn from the slight mistake and don't do it again. If you are not keeping a journal, you definitely should be.

Anyway, don't sweat the small stuff that cannot be changed...go on with the grow as best as you can.

BTW It is nice to have a buddy offering opinions and possibly advice but when all is said and done this is your grow. Never stop the learning process and you will be able to tell him how things are going to be done...just sayin!

A good idea imo is to feed the plants 1/2 strength and add some dolomite lime

Thanks for the reassurance mate, yeah nature will always have its way it seems, And I've been keeping a little diary since I started, so I can use as a template sort of thing for the next grow. You are right, I have learned so much since it began and I'm sure that will continue to swell daily. thanks again brotha!

You guys are 100% sure it's not a sativa indica hybrid? It honestly could be one part of the genes fighting with the other.....

Maybe a nuclear power plant would be a good thing and he gets some mutated monster strain with like 40% thc or like a glow in the dark strain lol
