Strange Problem With Some Upper Leaves

I have something very odd going on with some of my plants, and it seems to be getting worse. I've never seen this before, or even heard of it. Hopefully someone else has, and knows what it is.

First, the facts of the case -

White Rhino, about 2.5 weeks into 12/12.
1000W Eye Hortilux
Coco chunks (not coir)
SOG
16 plants, cloned from 5 different mothers (second phase of a pheno hunt)
Top watering by hand, drain to waste, about twice a day, roughly 15-25% runoff on average.
Canna nutes A and B
About 1 ml Calmag per gallon once a day
6-8 ml Hygrozyme per gallon each watering
Canna PK 13/14, 2 ml per gallon once a day at the moment
PH 5.7 - 6.2
Canopy temps mid-80s, temperature of the grow medium high 70s
Water is oxygenated in a 5-gallon container with a 24/7 airstone, and I pour water from that reservoir to mix nutes once a day as needed. Water temps in low 60s. I also have a nylon stocking with a Mosquito Dunk sitting in the 5-gallon bucket, to control fungus gnats.

This is my second coco grow; the first was with coco coir, and I switched to coco chunks this run because I wanted to try something with better drainage. I wanted a looser medium so I could grow more of a hydro style with multiple feeds, because the coir acted too much like soil for what I was hoping to do.

In general, I'm happy with how the plants are doing, but I have noticed many times that I'm not getting anywhere near the root development with the chunks that I got with coco coir on my first run. By this time last run my roots were exploding out the bottoms of the pots, but this time around they're just barely holding the coco together. I'm surprised by that, and not really comfortable with it, but the plants seem very healthy aside from that, so I just made note of it and pressed on. I'm not sure if that's part of the problem or not, but thought I'd mention it. The roots do seem healthy, but they just aren't taking off the way I'm used to in hydro.

What's happening is that the small leaves that are probably best described as young sugar leaves (the narrow ones growing right out of the buds) are starting to wilt on the top buds. The fan leaves look fine, but these leaves are drooping. It started with a couple of leaves on one plant several days ago, and now is happening to about half the plants. I can't identify any insects or mold on any of the bud sites, although I do have a few fungus gnats that I am actively beating down with Mosquito Dunks and sticky traps. I've pulled most of the plants out of their pots, and can not see any evidence of root problems, aside from the relatively poor root development.

Anyone seen this before? What should I be looking for here? I'm speculating that the poor root development may mean that the smaller leaves closest to the light are not getting sufficient moisture, but that's just a shot in the dark at the moment.

Thanks!

If I didn't think wilting leaves on otherwise-healthy plants were a problem, I wouldn't have posted the thread. Come back when you really have an answer.

If you only know the easy ones, that's fine - I don't know this one either. But if all you're looking for is a pat on the head, could you please find another thread to be a smartass in? So you don't muddy up the thread in case someone who actually knows something wants to chime in?

What week of flower did you switch from the grow food? They look a little pale. Not that bad yet though.

What's your RH? Maybe the humidity is too low for the temperature? At 80f degrees or so I think you want RH close to 60%. That's my best guess. Not a deal breaker, just not optimal. VPD. - Just learned about Vapor Pressure Differential myself, so that's probably why it is my guess, haha, but I think there's a possibility. So mid-70s around 50% ish? I forget.
