Strange stem problem with pic

Yeah I've heard alot of problems of over watering so I only watered every 2 to 3 days sometines I sprayed the dirt to add moisture. But I pulled up the plant last night and it was surprisingly strong, I think I might have not buried it deep enough. It was at least 1/4" under dirt but then I uncovered a little when I thought it was too deep. But I have 3 more germinating as I type.

So if I use a 2ft T5 light, isn't that the same as a cfl? Cause I got one today at the hydro store cause I wanted one for side lighting
