Here we go start of week 6,I have to say I'm really liking this strain ,Now I see why they call it gorilla glue because of how much trichomes it produces. When Im moving branches or tying buds up I was almost annoyed of how sticky my hands where getting haha I guess thats a good problem. Enjoy!!

Very nice healthy looking grow you've got going. Smallish buds but the resin looks great, I foresee some great by-products from that gooey leaf. I may have to drop a few bucks and give this stain a try.

Yea the buds are like dense nugs and from what I was told thats how she grows. I have tent right next to this and it has one big plant of gg4 so Im going to compare scrog 4 plants vs 1 big plant to see how the bud structure comes out so far its looking promising. I would definitely say give it a try if you have access to the clone, and oh yes Im going to make some shatter from the trim!! Im going to post pictures of the big plant in a few days.

Yes I'm in the wrong zip code to acquire the GG. But I'll be watching them finish here.

So my plants are about to go into week 5 and the buds look GREAT but.. i had a ph problem for a few weeks that im finally getting under wraps.. lets just say my ph was higher than 7 for a good while because of a faulty pen i was using. my buds look SUPER frosty like yours and nice hairs and such but the rest of the plant leaves are just so faded and not really that green at all. yours are SUPER dark green fan leaves still. 2 of my 5 plants have like really yellowy leaves. I am wondering what i should do once the ph is in balance (its at about 6.9 right now.. another watering ill get it down to at least 6.5 (i am in roots organic soil)
but im wondering if i should hit them with a supplemental nitrogen feeding in addition to my regular bloom nutes. or if im screwed with how yellow they are right now.
Thanks!

ps your setup is making me drool. i want to do straight coco next for the reason of how often i can water..

Could be many factors as to why your leaves are yellowing but most likely a nitrogen lockout I "assume" If your in soil that ph range seems fine 6.5-7 from my understanding. Nitrogen is needed during flower not a lot but it needs some! I inoculate with microbes weekly until week 6 of flower and I know thats what helps keep the nutrients in balance, soil is loaded with microbes but weekly re-inoclation will really help ,get some molasses to give them energy as well.

Like I said there is too many variables to consider, sometimes its not even a deficieny but the environment is bad my best suggestion is evaluate everything first to be sure its not conditions then some re-inncoulation with microbes and maybe a 5-1-1 fish fertilizer microbes love that too. Don't worry about the extra nitrogen I just stopped the 5-1-1 fish this week and you can see the nice green I have.

Thank you for your advice.

So the problem started with yellowing symptoms towards the top which is what manganese/iron def looked like. But
This was also the same time that i thought i was getting root aphids AND before i started to notice the yellowing, in the middle of phing nutrients one night, my ph meter took a crapper... i thought it was reading low at like 4.4 so i added a bunch of ph up but the number kept bouncing from ph 4.3 to like 5.3 so instead of throwing out the water and waiting another day or whatever, i ended up watering it with my mix. so because i added a LOT of ph up i think this is where my problem started.
The next day at work i tested the pen and realized that the probe was faulty (fixed by swapping a new ph probe) and i kinda got busy with life and didnt have much time to really leech the soil and see what my ph was after this. i just kept on watering with about 7ph for a week or more.

the ONLY other environmental thing is the temps range from average 60 degrees (some nights have been 55) up to 78 degrees roughly. i have a fan connected to my light with a temp control device.

When i thought i was getting root aphids i was drenching with sns 203.. found out that they were beneficial mites and springtails! so i went about a week here and there of like barely any nutrients but insect drenches... PLUS my ph runoff the other night was 7.25 as an average between the plants.

and manganese and iron get locked out (sorta) much higher than 6.5

so 2/3 nights ago i drenched everything with phed solution that only had hygrozyme, fasilitor, bud candy, and sns 604b.. nothing with much of any nitrogen at all. and the PH of this was 6.15 and leeches all till they were at highest 7.0 ph runoff. so im going to go and water them all again and try my best to get the runoff down to a safe 6.5

Up until now (in bloom weeks only) they have been getting
Earth juice bloom 0-3-1
Bio Marine 2-3-1
Bio Bud .5-.01-.1
Calmag
Fasilitor 0-0-.6
Bud Candy
SNS 604B - .07-.001-.12
(Started with Bud Ignitor and stimul8er and base in first 2 weeks)

I have also not been watering til a certain amount of runoff. So the time that i might have watered with ph of .. idk 8! the watterings after that (and before) i havent been getting much runoff.. just a small amount.
I am wondering if it is prudent to water until much runoff every time.. They are in 3 gallon fabric pots and the bottom is layered with growstones.

A picture wouldn't this big girl justice so here is a quick video. 3 weeks into flower and the buds are showing!! This is also gorilla glue #4 set to harvest about a month after the girls above,I think Im going to do one big plant instead of several by the way the bud structure is. 2 month veg to get it this big and yes you can still do a perpetual with 2 month veg time just look up the Capn style of growing thats what inspired me to grow one big plant. Shout out to The Capn!!

Here we go I thought these ladies will go 9 weeks but I think they will be done in 8 weeks:hump: but we shall see. I looked in my 100x microscope and see a lot of cloudy trichomes still waiting for the first sign of amber to feel its ready which I don't think will take 2 more weeks. Im really liking this Gorilla Glue I wish I can share how good they smell :o hopefully this is the last week y'all see ya next week.

He was telling me how he knows this strain might be the next girl scout/blue dream hyped up bud. How it's rare to get now, but later on people get it so hyped up it's going to be available everywhere. Im not going to sell it!!! it's for my own growing peace of mind... bongsmilie

Well here are the results of this harvest I don't know the exact weight but I assume a little over a quarter pound :confused:it has a very pine ,diesel almost mint smell pretty strong high and yes it is very sticky. Im sure it could have went another week even though the trichomes where overall cloudy but thats why we grow to learn from each grow which makes us better and better…. and the fact I have another harvest 3 weeks away so i will see very soon what a extra week will do :hump:

Things learned from this first grow with gorilla glue:
-Stretches a lot during the first few weeks of 12/12 so be on top of your scrog and top or super crop early
-E.C maxed out at 1.9 then tips showed signs of burn
-Doesn't seem to hinder growth when doing any type of LST or defoliating
-9 weeks with this strain

Enjoy the photo's!!!

Glad I stopped in here! Looks great man. I'm almost done with week 2, these things grow so damn fast! I think the stretch is about over and the stretch was 2.5x (flowered at 15" and they are 36" now).

Can't wait for them to frost up like yours

Thanks Alpha, yea thats another thing I took note of the fast growth rate also it seems to keep stretching until week 3 of flower. I harvested at exactly 8 weeks and thats a lesson learned because they could of gone one more week. After doing more research on the lineage I see its mainly sativa which ensures me even more that 9 weeks is the minimum.

I have this plant at week 7 so I'm going for 9 weeks this time so I will get a definitive answer for y'all in 2 weeks
