Stretching and Bending

Hello everyone!

I'm a complete noob when it comes to gardening in general, especially marijuana... I've been checking pictures from other people and I am not sure if my little plants are doing ok. It's already day 10 but they look like one is stretching too much and the other one is bending for no apparent reason... Could someone have a look and tell me how it looks to expert eyes?

They are absolutely perfect just get the lights closer if they are CFLs and get a fan to blow into the stems to make them harder .

Is that 10 days since sprout? Bit small, but healthy with no issues and soil looks good .

It's an HPS 400W they've got, I'll see if I can put a fan next to where they are right now. It's reassuring you tell me they're looking good. I guess it's just paranoia

They look fine to me, seedlings stretch till about the second node is formed, they're just making a long healthy stem

400W HPS may be a bit overkill for such a small seedling though. You could get away with a small fluorescent lamp for the first few weeks of veg normally.

So, following your advice I brought the lamp closer but the situation changed in a way I didn't expect.

The seedling that was stretching went like "Duuuuude... 'thefuk is that light?" and the one that was bending is like "Uuuuh, light! What if I turned yellow?". Still normal?

I am by means an expert but I'll take a stab.

What you were doing before was fine. Be careful with the fan this early.

I wasted a a couple seeds moving them into a fan. If they fall over stick a straw next to them to prop them up. the light you are using is probably to strong at that close of a distance. Yellow would be bleaching. To much light.
