Ok so i started my grow with my 400w mh but i added more seeds/plants after i switched to HPS and yes they stretching like a mofo.If you like leggy plants then use your HPS the whole grow,but don't be mad when you got buds breaking branches and pulling under an oz per plant.In short HPS fucks the veg stage with a long dick.

Huh? I grew SLH last fall under 400W HPS through the entire grow. Topped for 8 colas, pulled exactly 6.7oz from one plant. If it stretches and bends, support it with sticks or something else.

you do know you can prevent the stretching right ? i dont see the point of this post.

then why dont you tell him how rather than making a useless post about a another useless post.

anywho yes plants tend to stretch more under hps but if you keep you light close enough to the plant you can reduce the stretch. us perpetual 12/12 from a seed guys have no other choice but to grow under an hps when using one grow room. i run my hps all year on 12/12 and add seeds/plants on a weekly basis and dont have any trouble getting no less than an ounce and a half off each plant.

I wasn't looking for any answers lol and for the dude who pulled over 6oz i bet u vegged a very long time and you would have pulled more if u used MH first.But the point of my post is don't use HPS for veg unless u like tall leggy plants,cause alot of people go for str8 HPS and get on RIU like "Why my plant keep stretching and im doing 12/12 from seed?" "why does my plant suck so much?" "Why are my leaves all burnt up and shit?" The HPS IS why.ijs a 2 week old pure indica seedling/plant shouldn't be 6-10" .Don't get me wrong i love HPS just for flowering tho.

It's really strong, a little bit too strong for my likings. It's good, it starts like an indica but 20-25 mins into the high it picks up and the sativa effect kicks in. 9 of 10.

THX i think imma just go for the indica/sativa mix i hope the 1 SLH pops even tho i don't have the space for any more plants as of right now.And i also hate the strong sativa effect its too hard to be lazy with that shit (start trippin)

Super silver haze was one of the best strains i've ever smellt/smoke. Might have been mostly sentimental but it was dank shit.
