Strong smell and good tasting bud but no high hardly??

I picked up a 8th of some stuff that supposedly was a hybrid a cross between 2 different strains that the guy supposedly liked something I never herd who knows if it was just something fairly local or a couple known strains . I could smell the weed in the car when the guy got a half and I jumped in and I could taste it good almost every hit tasted good. yet the high dident seem too great I smoked one bowl got like 2 hits and I sorta felt something in my eyes. then dident smoke till we got home did a couple bowls and a bong and I barely seemd high. I had been smoking midgrade greenbud before this. Usually when u get into medical grades and stuff like kush and gdp and pineapple you get pretty wrecked off of just 2 or three hits. dident happen and it kindasucks when your paying 400 a zip price and ur barely getting off. guy claims they mix there own soil they buy promix and add shit to it I guess. supposedly the persons been doing it for the last 10 years yet the kid that's maintaining it is deff not a greenthumb the person doesn't no shit about growing weed just what he's been basicly told smokes cigs around em and shitI don't even think he uses nutes just sticks em in the buckets and lets it go. the room had plastic on the floor and I think the dude had some spray for mold he was using in there but that's about it.

even if it was the dank of the dank you're getting robbed @ 400/oz..i feel like i'd get better prices even if i lived in the north pole.

To the OP- that's a pretty strange sit-ye-ation (that's redneck slang for situation for all the wankers out there).

Usually if I don't have a chance to taste before I buy, then I always go by smell. Looks can be deceiving; sometimes you'll have some bud that looks dank and has trichomes and hairs, but you'll go to smell it and it'll either not have any smell, or it'll smell like hay. But then sometimes you'll get a hold of some shit that looks like its on its way from stomach 2 to stomach 3 inside a cow, but you'll smell it and it'll smell like dank, and if it smells dank then usually it tastes dank, and gets you baked.

The reason for this is generally how they are dried and cured. The THC molecule isn't psychoactive until it loses a CO2 branch off of each one (the stickies here are useful!), which only happens through correct curing methods/times.

Now, a bud that looks good, smells good, AND tastes good? With no high?!? That's just dangerous. Kids around here would be ripping people off left and right.

prolly, taken early, barely dry with no cure at all. therefore, the thc was still acid, hence very little high.

Where the hell is this?! Im coming to sell there hahaha.

The 260 is from some1 fronting the smoke.. Soo theres a price for ticing it & £40 on top of each oz for a large debt i owe It costs everyone else 200-220 Fuuckin cronic too

How dry was it?

One purple pheno of the Killing Fields I grew had a very subjective/mild high to it. It was very mild until it was fully dry, then it had a light headed trippiness with perception changes (for me at least - one friend was just confusingly wondering when he would be stoned whilst babbling a lot)

Maybe the weed you scored was just heavily sativa dominant and still not at its full strength. Just a thought.

Once again a thread that brings up the idea which means that all hash made from fresh ganja - like charas and bubble hash - should have no psychoactive properties (yet if does). Still mystified by this.

yea that makes sense as it was pretty fresh and could have been rushed into drying the wrong way so It was still kinda moist after a couple days of drying. Yea wonder if any extra nutes are used or is it just what the soil was mixed with idk. Went I did some outdoors I let em dry hang upside down for 4 days and cured for another 3 I dident add any extra heat just hung em up in my closet on the second floor. was an enjoyable smoke and I got pretty baked. some of the earlier stuff had a clorophyl taste and was harsh and moist. ive also found that if you flush the plants out the last week and don't water no morethe buds are able to dry faster and you get a cleaner smoke
