strong smell from premature plant ?

Really confused with this one my ak48 is about 2 weeks old, only on her 2nd node, not yet showing pistils but already has a very skunky smell.

Has anyone else had a experience like this ?

Not a bad thing at all!

I have had some smelly plants in veg but not that early.

Had the same with my white widows. In veg about 3 weeks old . House smelt very strong of it and there in a tent. Once I swooped to flower in a bigger tent and bigger better filter it was OK .no smell at all until 5th week of flower. ..

Not with AK but i tried to grow some purp from bag seed several years back . We they reached three inches tall i had to pull them up . Their smell was so loud you couldn't hide it. I've only seen that the one time.

My current grow is doing it. They've stank since about 3 weeks old. Pungent skunk smell. Unzip the tent and the whole room stinks.

Makes you wonder how bad it'll be in late flower...

I'm growing 6 strains in one if my green houses rite now ......all are young at this point .....all get same soil and treatment ((very healthy)) the GG4 is very stinky already .....Te kosher kush has a decent scent as well ......I did some northern lights last year that never smelt as loud as these GG4 the whole way through .....I've had this happen through the years and the smoke ended up being very nice .....as long as your plants are healthy and happy ....it's a good thing IMO .....GL

Yeah fingers crossed for a nice smoke, i am just overly paranoid about stealth and only have a cheap carbon filter, but i guess i will find out one way or another how it will go. This is the first auto i have ever had that stunk like this before flowering

I judge plants by this early smell even, but now my world has changed. I recently learned here that only unhealthy plants express smell at all.
I'm crushed that I've kept rooms full of the smelliest of hundreds sampled, shit!o_O

Yes,

I experienced the same thing. Really strong skunk smell very early with one of my AK 48 plants unfortunately it turned out to be a male.

Week 4 update:

So far the ak48 plants have no smell except for one plant. It has a strong skunk smell and it's still really small. The others have no smell whatsoever.

Anyone ever have this phenotype? It smells fantastic, strong sweet skunk smell. hopefully it turns out nice.
