Struggling with The No Link Policy

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, and I tried to post an LED question with links to some of the components and I received an error because my account is new. After deleting the links, I'm still getting the error. Any idea how to fix that issue?
You need a few likes I think before you can post links. Either that or the site has had some problems, last week I couldn't upload images due to site issues.

Corey is spot on, like everywhere these days this site has some daft rules....

I can’t remember exactly what it is you need to do, but upload a thumbnail or profile pic, get a few likes & go into the politics section & insult everyone you can however you can - just post more. The more comments, likes, etc you have the more you’ll be able to do.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys,
I retyped it and changed the name of the post and it went through. I think it just got flagged because as you said, I don't have any activity built up yet.
LOL @ the politics thing; maybe I need to try that!
