Stunted growth and leaves curling 'up' like Mg deficiency

Symptoms:
Stunted growth - it literally just halted. It was going at a great rate last week.

Lower leaves turning yellow then dying. This is moving up the plant (very) slowly.

Some leaf tips are yellow, but barely.

Plant isn't withering and doesn't look limp or weak

SOME leaves' edges are pointing up, like a 'V' shape, like Mg deficiency - but I fed them already.. so I doubt this is the problem.

soil grow, 600w MH, soil isn't dry (I let it dry between waterings), only a few weeks old, feeding slightly with diluted 15-10-10 liquid fert. Tried flushing one plant but didn't make a difference.

Anyone??

Here are some pics. Last pic is of the leaves that fell off the bottom of the first plant.

After taking the pics, I watered (a little) with some Epsom Salt.

Get those out of those cups, you need at least a 3 gallon pot for those roots to really take off.

So the problem is that they're root bound? They seem too small to be root bound at this point I think, but I'll do as you suggested.

Yes I agree, they should have been out of those cups a long time ago.

Hell yea, I take them out of the cup at 2 weeks old, put them in 3 gallons and watch them take off!!

OK, I'm pretty sure they were rootbound.. Absolutely no growth AT ALL for at least two weeks, lower leaves yellowing and dying off, and plant constantly looks like it needs water.

I just transplanted them to 1.5 gallon pots. The roots did extend down to the end of the cups. I didn't see them poking out of the drain holes because the cups had small pebbles on the bottom for drainage.

Dude my shits are in the same type of cups and are having the same exact problem. What happened when you transplanted them?

I did that once,, I moved to 3 gallon pots so I didnt have to transplant anymore and they shot up and did excellent for the rest of the grow....

Thats nute burn. I think whats happening is your PH is off. The the nutes are not getting to the plant properly because they cant absorb (ph) but the concentration is high enough to burn the leaves. The curling leaves are the first sign you will notice that the concentrate is too high. The tips and edges will curl up. Then the leaves will turn brown as they burn. You said the yellowing is moving up the plant- this means its a macronutrient deficiency, as the plant is moving the food where it needs it. Flush your plants with PH balanced water and feed again using half the nutes youve been using. Give it a week and post again. the problem should fix itself (6.5-7 ph in soil)

I just tranplanted most of my plants into bigger 3-4 gallon pots and watered them with half strength solution. I hope they get better.

I transplante my plants yesterday and boy were they rootbound. Ive learned that its smart to jus plant your seedling or sprout in a container that will last it its whole life. Never again will I use small cups. I just hope that my plants will grow better from now on. By the way does anyone have any info on fox farm nutes and whether or not it I should use thier feeding chart.

i do. for the first lesson to the chart but use 1/4 nutes first gallon than 1/2 and 3/4 and than fulle dose. I like to add sweet to mine about 10-15cc of it
