Hi, I just got 450W LED. It is 3watt each.
Whats the distance between the light and the canopy?
My plants are veg for about 3 weeks and I'm flipping the light to 12/12 with the new LED.
I've read from many LED growers. some say 450W should be hung at 30-36 inches from the top of the canopy.
some say 16-20inches. other say 6-10inches while flowering.
Well, I'm confused. I use scrog method and I wanna make sure I get the right distance from the light to the screen.

and probably less than the manufacturer's recommendation), then see if the plant stretches or not. If it stretches, drop the panel till the node space is acceptable to you. If it's not stretching, leave the panel alone or raise it to increase footprint. The combination of panels and strains is unique, so it's up to you to monitor the behavior of the plant and see if the environment is what the plant wants/needs. Good Luck and Happy Growing.
