Hi I have some of Subcool's soil cooking but have just realised I've added the wrong type of bat guano.. The npk of the bat guano sub uses is 0-5-0 but the one I've used is 3-15-4 is this going to cause problems? ie burning? Is there anything I can do to fix this mistake? Should i put a bit less in the final pots? Or do I need to mix more base soil and more amendments? It's already been cooking for 2 weeks and don't want to have to extend that time as i have seedlings vegging. Any help would be appreciated

I'm vegging critical kush to be transplanted into super soil.. I've heard that they are heavy feeders.. If I was to veg long enough in 3 litre air pots until they are pretty mature will it help? Also if I cook the soil a bit longer will that help? Or maybe if I just filled the final 20 litre air pots with 1/4 super soil then mix in some base soil up to 1/2 the pot then fill the top half with base soil? I just want to make sure I don't burn my ladies when they are put into super soil..

I wouldn't worry about the guano. As long as you aren't starting seeds in you super soil, the plants should take to it in short order. Good idea to put a layer of weaker soil between your root ball and the new super soil you are transplanting into. I just put some plants that are about a month old into super soil and I am seeing a couple that are showing minor signs of over-feeding. This will stunt them for a little while but they will adjust and take off.

Ok thanks a lot for the help I will make sure I mix a weaker layer from a 1/4-1/2 of the pot and hope it works out ok.

That guano isn't going to make a difference, as long as your roots are fully established and you have your buffer layer. The plant is going to take what it wants and leave what it don't need.
