Hey everybody!! Some of you might know me from the outdoors section, but today im gonna share my first ever indoor micro grow.:-P Ive got a hollowed out subwoofer box with mylar on all sides, and either 2 or 3 CFLs (I need help on this one). I soaked 3 seeds in water, 1 Lemon Kush and 2 mystery strains I got for free from my dispensary. 2 of them popped but I threw all 3 of em in the soil today. Im using Uni-Gro organic mix, it has pretty much everything necessary in it, it holds moisture but also drains pretty good.. im getting good results with my outdoor grow.

Now ive got some questions. Im pretty informed on light spectrums with CFLs and all that, but, can I use 2 6500k CFLs during veg? Or should I use 1 6500k and one 2700?? Its possible to use 2 6500s and 1 2700 but its a tight squeeze and the bulbs are touching. Can that hurt them? Also, do I need to have the lights on right now since the seeds havent sprouted? Or can they just chill? :?

Any comments/questions/advice will be appreciated guys. BTW im going all organic, I wont be using any liquid nutrients or anything so plz dont recommend them to me.. except for Maxsea, I already know about that from my outdoor experience.

Thanks, but like I said im well aware of the spectrum ratio needed. Im just wondering if the bulbs can be touching and if I need the lights on since they havent sprouted

Yes your lights can touch...they dont get hot enough to do anything...can you touch two pieces of glass together? Yes...if one gets significantly hotter than the other it can put uneven heat where they are touching as cause them to crack...but cfls dont produce a whole lot of heat

Cfl's do produce heat. What kind of a fan you have there?
not sure if you should fim, because you can't really expect what's going to happen, maybe just top it?

IF you don't have a fan it will be too hot with 3 cfls touching each other.
2 cfls could be normal, not sure. Get a fan in there as i didn't see one.
