Suddenly .... Yellow leaves !!!

Just put plant into flower after it finally grew some decent roots (eleven weeks). Didn't have BLOOM nutrients, so used a low dose (1/4 Tbsp/gallon instead of one Tbsp) of a 11-35-15 powder. added the called for amount of BOOST, MgCal, and Awesome blossom. during the water swap. pH ended up a bit low ~5.5.. In about 24 hours I noticed the yellowing appearing at a pretty fast pace... after a day I bumped pH up to ~6.2. Did this a week ago and yesterday I swapped the water out with new BOOST, MgCal, and Awesome.. pH adj to 6.2.. TDS ~1000 which is normal for my nutrients.. Got Technaflora BLOOM today and add 15ml/gal of it... pH now 5.8.. TDS 1350.. Should leaves start to return to green.. or was something else the culprit ??

If your in hydro dunno if you can flush but I used to use h2o2 I'd get a bottle it would kill anything in your root zone
So I'd new res plain water h2o2 plant in it for a while
Then new res again ..basic flower nute keep it basic
Proper hydro guys can hopefully correct me here if I'm giving bad advice
Done 1 or 2 dwcs only

Yes, it's hydro... basket in the top of a 5 gallon pail, water is crystal clear, and roots aren't overly brown. What ppm H2O2 do you recommend in the reservoir ?

I think you might of been feeding without a full nutrient profile.
Lacking iron /sulphur, due to you not having a proper base nutrient

Assuming your roots are OK as you said

As Corey said deffo a micronutrient missing from your feed. Either iron or sulphur. I’m leaning iron since the veins are slightly green still and seems to progress from the opposite of the leaf tip.

Leaves that yellow will never get the green back.

The added; Technaflora BOOST has 0.04% Iron, Technaflora MagiCal has 0.11% Iron, and Orchid Better-Bloom has 0.15% Iron. I thought that the Better-Bloom may have caused the problem, so I swapped the water three days ago, replacing the Better-Bloom with Technaflora BLOOM which has no iron, but 1.37% Sulfur. Interestingly, the pH of the water slowly dropped from ~5.8 to ~5.3 over the past three days. I'll probably swap out everything again today to settle the pH at 5.8 to 6.2... probably on the low end to be in a better environment to absorb more Iron. I'm attaching 3 pictures of the plant this morning. Under grow lighting, under regular lighting, and one of the roots.

Just my opinion, but those roots don't look so good. I could be wrong, but they look awful dark, for nutrient stain.

Are they slimy, and, or stinky?

I'm with @Hollatchaboy , those roots may be in bad shape, which explains alot.
At this point, you're gonna find/get a bunch of info on how to fix root rot. Everything from hydrogen peroxide to bleach. I'm actually doing DWC right now and was having major issues getting it fired up, you can find some of my posts on my issue, but @tyler.durden turned me onto a product called API ECOFIX... it worked!!!! I had DWC tubs and the water was in the 80's... no problems. Harvests completed, no weird root smells. Mine were a bid stained as well from using GH Flora nutes.
I'm holding out a little hope that those are stained, because I see some healthy white roots coming off the mains.

I have run into a white mold slime... way back in the grow a snotty looking blob in the water ... changing the water weekly has kept such at a minimum... roots don't have slime or smell, and many are totally white.. course many more are off-white/tan. What exactly is Ecofix ?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the reason for the sickly plant isn't the nutes, it's the roots. The white ones you see are healthy productive roots, the brown/orange ones clumped together are not.

I used GFF (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens) to combat pythium in DWC with good results.
From a previous bout w/ pythium, I chopped off all the orange useless roots, time between first and last pics was one week:

Yep, we call that brown slime algae, which starts off white. It is actually a cyanobacteria that often plagues aquariums and such. A DWC killer. It is good that you still have some white roots coming through, but they will soon be suffocated by the slime if not eradicated. Ecofix by API is a super concentrated liquid blend of beneficial bacteria that is meant for ponds, and it treats and prevents root rot. It's cheap on Amazon. Best root product I've ever found. I was having rot issues, but that is now a thing of the past.

Did your airpump or anything mess up
I'm sure there's some guys on here had thier electric go out and the airpump stop working
mines did for a a couple hours 1 or 2 times
Glad it didn't kill them but they were allright like

No air pump problems, however if one did have power problems, a few hours would not deplete oxygen levels to the point of making the water toxic. I ordered the ECOFIX and will have it Monday. I would guess that H2O2 should not be added if I am adding beneficial bacteria ?? If I cut all of the roots (like pic above) because they are orange/brown won't it kill the plant ?

Yes, h2o2 and bennies is pointless.

Cutting the diseased roots certainly didn't kill mine, but ymmv.

I think my results woulda been similar if I'd left the orange roots but that's just speculation.

I've done the root shave, and it was insane how fast they came back.
Also as a side note. make triple sure everything you put in the rez is non-organic. Sometimes those guys will include just a LITTLE bit of something like molasses or amino acid derivative. Take no chances with DWC. IMO, it's the fastest grow method easily available, but has ZERO buffer for anything organic other than ECOFIX.

I got the ECOFIX. How much should I add? 1ml per 4 gallons, or would it hurt to add a bit more than that?
