suffering from FIRST GROW SYNDROME

i am surley like most newbs and have a million ?s. most time i can get answer with a google search and find a link to hear(searching these forums are hard for me) ive read alot and learned. but still relating that theory to exp is sometimes tough. i have 2 questions and will be posting some pics in a few minutes. i was just thinkin about it how people have ?s and could add pics but dont( i may be new but not slow lol). so here goes. are these plants females, as i deperately wanna know and can i chill a magnum xxl hood with a 600 w hps goin with 2 cpu fans at 80 cfms?

2 shot of each plant diff spots and 1 of canopy for any queries. they are 2 ft tall now and been in flower about a week. imconfused to how a person could tell before even now as ive read people say they can

females. those white hairs are the tell tale sign.

nope, u need more powerful fans than that, a 5 or 6 inch can fan will be perfect.

males have (balls) pollen sacks.

thanks for quick replies. i goofed with my construction plan and put the flower room farthest away from exhaust fan. sound crazy but because of basement ceiling crap(pipes and stuff) i have a direct line to fan this way( ican see the fan though ducting but its like 9 ft away. the fan has a t that is fitted so it doesnt have much resistance. im gonna switch the rooms around for next grow so i will have better draw on hood. its hooked up to fan thats rated 425 or so with controller. i was able to cool it more by putting a cpu fan(80 cfm) on opposite side of hood to push and exhaust fan to draw

and yeah pic 7 is what throws me. some say its new growth from forums and pics ive seen. it didnt quite look like new growth to me. as i stated im over anzious and i know its getting the best of me...
