sugar kiled my plants

Hey whats up everybody, I was told that by adding sugar to your flowering plants can increase yeild up to 20%. I tried disolved the sugar and fed them but it sealed the soil. Made it spongy and sticky and some of my roots were bright red in spots. Anybody know what i did wrong?

another great example of lack of research. ppl say plants need light too. I use a led flashlight cause it is bright as hell and way cheaper than some of those hid's i see around here.

Puff... read about flushing your plants then do it.

you should only use mollasses and i dont recommend using it for indoor. outdoor i put 2 tablespoons per gallon of water only when i fertilize. never all the time. if you use it too much you will get nutrient lockup. you must water at least twice with regular water in between mollasses feedings. and yes it works wonders on yeild and flavor

WELL LAST YEAR I GREW MY FIRST PLANT AN IN THE LAST FEW DAYS i fed it massive ammounts of sugar water an it drank alot of it up an made the budds soo sweet i loved it

Sugar also binds nitrogen and makes it unavailable to the plant...I use sugar water when I see signs of overfert...since sugar is the simplest carbon you can really add to a plant...so unless you have caused a serious deficiency then there is nothing the sugar could have done....I use it in veg and flower...as I said, anytime I suspect the plants have too much N...and it has never caused any issue...but if you use too much sugar for the amount of water and the sugar isn't totally dissolved it can again lock out all the nutes that are there...so just flush....and if ever you decided to sugar water your plants again use 3 tablespoons in a gallon and mix thoroughly.

and sugar water won't hurt a plant...so you have done something more than sugar water, or as I said you now have more sugar than anything else in your soil....

titling this sugar killed my plant is no good either OP...I always tell people to use some sugar water when they overfert...simply because it won't hurt the plant the way that flushing will...and also how do oyu know your roots have red spots? I want to see some pics of this plant...for real. Let's see the plant kille dby sugar...lol. I don't think it was the sugar...

u added way to much and possibly wrong kinda (too complex when cooled fromed a csytalline matrix in ur soil those red sores u see are just that ur rrots got stabbed by the sugar crystals egdes ur dose is what killed u wrong sugar just give u less results ,best sugars to use is dextose frotose gluecose are all found in every carb loader on earth(these carbs are huge fast used energy leading in huge growth increase but at a rate of maybe 1 teaspoon 10liters if in doubt ask n ask again for doses than use half that to be safe n go from there molasses is in this catagogy as well

Puff hasn't been on for almost three years but for anyone with any interest in this thread I recommend two things, don't put sugar in your mix and don't over feed your plants. You can get your mj to taste sweet by vasing it in RO water for the last twenty-four hrs. Remove them just as the hps comes on...
