I'm sure someone has tried it but I don't reccomend it. People use molasses because it has many benefits. Brown sugar....who knows. I say go to the store and get some molasses ($2-$3). It's not even necessary to use a carb-sugar supplement. I see almost as many people who say it did nothing or it caused problems as I do people who like it. I guess if you are really curious you could take a cutting and use some brown sugar on it and see how it does. Make sure you have a control plant (a cutting taken from the same plant at the same time but not given any brown sugar). Best of luck to you my friend. :weed:

Yea i know it doesnt cost much but usually when i am at the grocery store i am stoned to da bone and looking for the munchies not thinking of molasses lol. Thanks for your input on it i wont use brown sugar but will experiment with it on a clone. once i get the molasses would it be ok to start using it on the plants they're only 18 days old as i stated just curious as to useing molasses in this early stage i know it would possibly bring pest but i have that covered.

You can use it at any stage. Go easy with it though. If they are young I would start them out with 1 teaspoon per gallon. Gradually work up to 1 tablespoon per gallon. Molasses has lots of beneficial effects and tons of micronutrients in it. Make a list so you don't forget next time you are out shopping. It's in the baking aisle at the grocery store. bongsmilie
