Started this outdoor grow just over a month ago. Previously only ever done indoors which was plagued by general noob problems, hopefully all ironed out. Grew these babies for 3 weeks under a CFL then hardened off and taken outdoors.
I'm using Biobizz All-Mix Soil and I'm growing 2 Swiss Cheese (fem. Nirvana) and 3 Northern Lights (Nirvana). Due to nearby neighbours as soon as the males are routed out I'll be chopping all but 2 of these to try and keep smell down. Height is no issue but obviously the bushier and shorter the better. Each plant is being treated differently so I have a chance to try out all the techniques I've read so much about on here. As long as I've learnt something by the end of this grow I'll consider it a success.
Starting in Jiffy plugs.
Using Biobizz Grow and Bloom. Am currently on 1/4 dose slowly working my way up to full grow dose
.
Hardened them off and took them outside to see how they fared in their positions. Then began to plant them in the soil.
Kept one of the Fems and one of the NL in the pots to compare growth differences.
My shockingly bad attempt at LST, only started 2 days ago it seems to be going OK.
Came back the other day to find half my plants eaten! Slugs almost definitely, so the area was quickly carpet bombed with slug pellets, the result this morning is a snail massacre, although one of the little nasty buggers climbed a bamboo stick onto my plant! Already expanded the minefield they wont be coming back.
Strangely my cat has developed a strange bond with them and sits there the majority of the day, hope she isn't after a tasty snack
Feel free to comment I'd really appreciate any help
Cheers
