sun vs indoor lighting?

is there any difference in potency, yield, or grow period time between the two?

Ive been growing a plant using indoor methods but gets sunlight as its source
what can I expect?

i guess it depends how strong the sunlight is.... I know around here in eastern canada most of the outdoor is pretty fluffy i assume because the sun isint super strong

wow peru.. you just about asked the same thing i wanted to.

ive been doing the same for my plant, but only cuz im under the impression that, if i cant give it any other lighting(ie hds, mh, cfls), than giving it sunlight is better than nothing. my brother dropped a little plant off and i was completely unprepared. ive gotten a lot of arrangements taken care of and hopefully there wont be problems with transitioning the plant that ive given natural sunlight to an actual indoor setup(which should be happening very soon ).

any thoughts guys??
