I'm amending some about 5 gals to my 25-39 gals of promix. Should I wash the perlite 1st?

I never wash my perlite, but it is dusty.

shit . don't talk about the dust its horrible and it stays in your room . makes you choke . I wonder if it would be smart to wash it . poke a hole on the top of the bag and a hole on the bottom and pore the water in to flush . yes was it to prevent dust .

Good call. I have a monster bag of it and was going to pour out 5gals of it into a plants pot and wash. I'll just make some razor blade cuts at the bottom and wash it.
