im currently growing a few plants outside in this perfect spot i got in my backyard. My plants get direct sunlight from about 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. that's only about 7 hours of direct sunlight. How in the world is this going to work if plants need like 16/8 and 18/6 light cycles. My plants are all 3 weeks old accept for my easyrider which is 2 days old but im worried they wont reach there full potential. Is 7 or 8 hours of direct sunlight equaled to 16 hours of indoor light? Could someone please explain to me how this works?

the best plants grow with at least 5-6 hours of mid-day sunlight ...so dont even worry about it bud plus im sure its gonna get warmer and your gonna get more sun soon! Good luck homez , peace

7-8 hours of direct sunlight is great actually. light cycles are somewhat different outside. typically plants outside only need 4-6 hours of direct sunlight and another 4-6 of in direct.
