Has anyone used these from HTGsupply? They say they will hold up to 25 pounds. From what ive read once you have them figured out they really save you a good amount of hassel when adjusting your light but the reviews were def mixed. What do you think? Are they easier to use then chains? Are they secure enough? And do they stay in place? Ive heard a few people mention they kept rising on them.

I recently started using a similar hanger set, they look the same but are a different brand, and was not too sure about the strength of them when I hung my 6" cooltube from them with the ducting attached and all. They are working just fine so far (hasn't been a week yry though) and once you get the tension set to your liking they make it much easier than chains.
I've been using chain since I started growing and unless these fail for some reason I'll use only these going forward. I'm going to get 2 more sets actually to use on my t5 fixtures since the adjusatbility is so nice.

If you decide to stick with chains, don't go overboard like I see some do with these big ass chains. The fixtures don't weigh very much and even the smallest of chain is rated high enough to handle the weight.

These are one of the greatest innovations to hit our hobby. I thought they were BS until I recieved a free set and tried em out. One thing I will note is, on lighter hoods you may have an issue. I have a cheap aluminium reflector and it did not weigh enough to keep the pulley in place. I fixed this by zip tieing one of the wife's 2.5 lbs weights to the top of the hood. a bit ghetto, but it worked mint. On my cool tube thy work as designed.

A+ product.
