First time grower here. I'm running 20/20 Mendocino Hindsight in a RDWC system. Plants are 28 days old. The leaves are dry and very gnarled but growth is vigorous. They are about 14 inches. Is there something wrong or is this the way the plants are supposed to look?
What are your water statistics after setting the pH and EC/ppm after 24 hours?

You should be learning from your water.

Set your EC and pH. Allow it to Run for 24 hours test your water.

if your EC has increased then you are feeding too heavy. Expect your pH to fall.

if your EC has fallen then Depending on fall by how much will determine if you’re feeding too lightly. Expect pH to increase.

so what is your water doing after 24 hours of running?

the water level is decreasing and the PPM (1100 on week 4) and pH (5.8) are static.

everything seems fine, but these plants look very strange to me...
