Good choice. You only need to take off the small stuff down below that is getting no light and leave the rest. The plants will now direct all their energy into those tops.... I didn't defoliate the top ...

Time will tell if you need support. I am not an expert indoors. The plant may be able to handle the weight of the mature bud. I can't tell from the pictures. What medium are you using. What are you feeding. Don't worry about support yet. If they get real heavy which is a good problem. You can use the walls of the tent to help. Some people use nets and or bamboo stakes. Not knowing the strain is a little handicap because you have no idea on flowering time. I would suggest that next time you buy some seeds from a reputable breeder. Will do would a net support the buds or is that for separation
I got some top soil from a local store here. With perlite mixed in. Holds water for 2.5-3 days. I am also using advanced nutes trio pH perfect.snd yes I know, this was my first grow and she had seeds left over that she just bought not long before giving them to me she just didn't remember. I also just got some black water from Cali connection idk if I will grow that my next time or not yet.Time will tell if you need support. I am not an expert indoors. A nylon trellis isn't that expensive so there is no harm in putting one up. They are about $15 to $20 each.... Time will tell if you need support. I am not an expert indoors. The plant may be able to handle the weight of the mature bud ...
Experience has taught me that one should avoid that. Leaning against the tent walls can prevent air movement around the entire top and can greatly improve the chances of mold. It's a piss off to toss a nice looking big bud because of the dreaded grey fuzz.... You can use the walls of the tent to help ...
Okay thank you I definitely won't put it against the tent. I will get a net though to help air movement and to hold them up if get to heavyA nylon trellis isn't that expensive so there is no harm in putting one up. They are about $15 to $20 each.
