I love super cropping, it makes the stems of the plant very sturdy and thick. I have an Arjans Ultra haze plant that is barely 2 feet tall, but it is roughly 5 months old now. This plant has so many heads and it looks like a bonsai tree, she is now flowering.
She's in her first week of flower, I haven't counted the heads.
Ok, so after reading about Supercropping, I had one question that I think just got answered.
Does supercropping slow vertical growth?? And now, I am thinking YES....Because there is NO WAY Arjan's ultra Haze can be 5 months old and still be around 2 feet tall without doing something that would slow the growth, those babies get 5,6 and 7 feet easily (even when vegged for just 3 to 4 weeks)...LMAO...WOW...
I guess it does makes sense. While the plant is wounded, it can't put all of it's energy into growth, because it now has to divide that energy up between growing and healing.
So I'm thinking that If I super crop a tall sativa at a young age it will prevent it from reaching the normal 8 to 10 feet of height...which is a very good thing. I think I might start Supercropping some sativas. I don't mind long flower times..the height issues is what becomes hard to deal with.
I might grow a Neville's haze and see if I can keep her at around 2 feet and bushy as hell like that plant...that would be a dream come true for me...hahaha...
Nice grow dude...that plant is BEAUTIFUL....
