I tried LST and infact got less(probably cause it was my first time) I havnt done it again, i think it takes a lot of practice to perfect.
I was shitting myself when i was doing it i think i stressed more than the plants...lol

LST tying down the branches so more of the nodes get light and to keep it short...
I myself am a first timer and to be honest i supper cropped on accident my plant responded well so i supper cropped a couple other branches and another plant worked well but i think i should have tied down the branch cause with in an hour it started to correct herself... Im sure it stresses the plant somewhat but i noticed no slow down in flower production...i did it in the 1st-3rd weeks of flower...

1-2 couple days after

i had to supercrop my last grow of sourcream as i started to run out of room.. i was super nervous doing it, but watched a few videos on youtube, and got a feel for what i was doing first.. i did it right when the lights came on and when i woke up in the morning, they had totally recovered.. the bud that had been laying down that night was now standing straight up looking at the light.. i couldn't believe that she recovered so fast and really took to it well.. i even did it about two or three weeks into flower as well, and it didn't seem to stress her in the least.. and i think i gained about 18 inches in height from the one supercropping..

LST is using something to pull the branches down without damaging them - just moving them around.
Its good to create even canopies.

Supercropping is squeezing the stem at a point hard enough so it falls but keeps intact.
Its good for lowering the heigh for a certain plant.

You should use the method that suits the situaltion.

I do a SCROG right now, which is mainly LSTing but if a stem doesn't bend as well as I want it to I might supercrop it.

I personally don't like doing anything like that. It just doesn't seem natural to me. (I'm more of an all natural guy)
I just flower them whenever they're at the height I want them to be and I usually get a good amount of bud.

without height managment its pretty hard to maximize the use of light.
when you place each bud at a certain distance you can make sure all the buds are getting enough light which easly translates to yield.

isnt Supercropping to tie the main stem at a 90?

no its pinching or breaking of an area of the stem to in theory increase the nutes running to the area of the break i believe

yes it is and you do it while you veg. you can grow it as long at 90 degreees to the plant as you want long as you have a container big enough to support the roots.when you decide to flower you quit tying it down and the end which is the top will start growing up as will all the other nodes which are now all also colas
