Super Lemon Haze and Critical Neville in a Aeroponic Scrog

Hello Everyone

This is my first journal and my 3rd grow. I am not sure if i am in the right place because I am beginning this journal in on the 5th week of flowering. I am not really having too many problems at the moment although I did earlier. I just want to tell you what I am doing and take any suggestions on what I should do to get the most out of the crop. I am waiting to get pics sent over so I can post. I should have them in a day or so hopefully.

Onward, like I said this is the 3rd grow. Having the experience will save you if you have a problem also the research and forums help to. I am growing 4 strains actually but will mainly focus on Critical Neville (Critical+ [skunk x critical mass] x Nevilles haze) and Super Lemon Haze (super lemon skunk x super silver haze)

My setup:
Hydrotek 22 site aeroponic system
Hortilux 1000 watts hps bulb
Hydro farm light mover
Hydro farm rectangle reflector with glass not using any ventilation
box fan
oscillating fan
Scrog
odor scrubber
grow hut the big rectangle one

Strains:
SLH
Critical Neville
Sharks Breath
La Woman

Nutes:
GH 3 part
GH Floralicious Plus
Grotek Monster Bloom

Well there you have it. I have had tons of issues which I had to recover from. First off I will probably always scrog mainly due to height restrictions. The system sits like 2ft of the ground and the reflector is pretty tall too. I should have got a bat wing I heard that is the best. This is my first time using a light mover. The reason why is because I have Shark and La Woman in the corner. My screen is 18 inches above the pots. You see a lot screens low but when growing a Sativa the screen must be high because sativas get big. I am growing 3 SLH and 1 Critical in 4x5 area. SLH will go for 11 weeks or when ripen to the max the Critical is a 14 week or better strain. This may be an issue for me which comes to my first question. if I start flushing on week 10 and pull SLH on week 11 what the hell is Critical gonna eat for month?? Should I re nute her after I pull SLH?

I have had to use every technique I could think of to keep these plants from growing into the light. SLH grew into the light because my light mover got caught up in a bungee cable and broke it so it was stuck on one side for a day and thats all SLH needed to take off into the beam. The techniques used to keep them short was topping in veg, I have had to redirect and tie down(absolute must in a scrog) branches, LST, lollipopping, and my last technique which comes to my next question Super Cropping. Super Cropping is where you bend the branch like your breaking it right? If so this is what I did to the buds coming through the screen which are getting to tall I bent the budding branch to where it is now horizontal to the screen. Is it ok to do that in the 5th week flower on a budding branch? Another issue I had when taking clones was I ripped the main stalk of my Critical. That shit freaked me out. What I did was tied the part that was ripped back to the stalk. It did not completely come off. However that bitch recovered. So when I get the pics I'll post them. Please feel free to offer any suggestions. I'll get more in detailed on my next post about environmentals, PPM, PH. nute dosages.

Ok sorry it has taken so long to reply to my own thread. I never had a camera when I needed it. I have some pics to post but they aren’t great either. I will post some better ones soon. Let me explain where I am now. I have harvested most of the SLH. Total 12/12 time was 14 weeks, however I was told that she started showing her lips after the 1st or 2nd week so I guess that would put her at 12 weeks. I could not find my microscope at the time of clippage and had to use a cheap magnifying glass. All of my pistols where dark amber 100% of them had changed on most of the buds except the one I supercropped(more on that in a sec) Trichs were very difficult to tell what was milky and cloudy vs clear I prolly should have let it go another week. I did not see any amber trichs. So I wont know if I did it til later. However I did dry some out in a oven a joints worth and smoked and was high as hell. I was very surprise I had a few cognacs earlier and that may have contributed. But the slh after smoking I was noticeably ripped. Very uplifting and soaring high that does not go away. I think I went to sleep and woke up high and this is from a few pulls. Onward The sharkes breath died. The la woman turned out great. Rock hard buds I let her go the distance total 12/12 was 14 weeks as well. Awesome smell have not smoked any yet. Critical Neville is still in flower today would make it 15 weeks so actually prolly 13 weeks of real flower. I cant remember when she started showing sex. This plant looks way better than the SLH completely covered in crystals chronic looking buds. I see amber pistols everywhere. She actually looks more ready than the SLH but Delicious says to take to 95-100 days. After I cut the slh I blasted neville with 800 ppm of bloom and floralicous. I refilled the rez once and the ppms dropped to 400 so I will just keep her leaching and 400 til she is ready. I used everything technique in the book mainly because these girls kept getting to tall. The best techniques by far was supercropping. However it had some negatives to it. Supercropping is when you create a bend in the stem like a garden hose to stop the flow of water. The bud was huge and kept growing. I actually supercropped it and tied it down. The problem is it was the most immature bud where all the pistols where white yet at the bottom of the bud was amber. Go figure. I harvested her anyway it was devastating. My mission was to try do regeneration but I had lollipopped them and all the stems had bud on it at the bottom. I could not see where new growth was going to come from. So I ended up chopping them well at least some of them. One slh is still in flower just to see if taking her longer would make a difference the other one is in there clipped under the screen but she just looks like a bunch of stems with maybe a leaf or two on her. I chopped LAwoman so no regeneration there. Neville still has a chance for regeneration of I do it right. So here are some pics. I INKOW THEY ARE HORRIBLE. Next time I will change the lighting so can see the trichs more.
