Super Lemon Haze, DWC, first grow)

Hi all)

My equipment:

Grow room Secret Jardin Dark Room II 60 (60x60x160)

Light 250 watt HPS Sylvania GroLux

Ventilation is one fan td 250 silent and one small computer cooler for my plant

Carbon filter: Carbon active 300z125

The temperature in my growbox is 25-27 C.

Humidity is: 40-45, i can`t make it higher because when the temperature raises, the air conditioner in the room turns on and the humidity goes down

My growing system is DWC, substrate is rockwool with hydroton

Seeds: Green House Seed: Super Lemon Haze

Fertilizers: GHE Flora series (GRO,BLOOM, MICRO, Diamond nectar, PH regulator)

The distance between lamp and plant is 35 cm
The chronology is:

14 september i put seed into the rockwool in the water with PH 5,5 , then squeeze it, then in a next few days, when i saw the first leaves i start using my fertilizers in concentration 0,6 EC(295 ppm)


25 september i put my rockwool with hydroton into the pot in DWC with fertilizers level around 0,7 EC (350 ppm), the distance between pot and water is 2 cm.

So today 1 october is 7 days from the beginning of the vegetative growth and my plants looks like these(see photos), my fertilizers level is 0,9 now EC (450 ppm), i planned to change the water every week, PH is 5,5 (very slowly increases, i need to correct in maybe one time in 1 one day, no more, i`am really glad).

Next week i plan to increase slowly my fertilizers level to 1,0 EC (500 ppm), max EC i planned using on vegetation period is 1,3 EC (650 ppm).

So and now))))the questions....which really nervous me....this is my first grow and i saw already on videos how Super lemon haze can grow in height, but in my secret jardin i have only 90 cm for plant, because i need to keep the distance beetween my lamp and plant, aqua pot height is also take the height of my grow tent.

Now i decide to use LST method, then SCROG. without topping and fiming) What do you think? can i control the height and make my plant bushy if i do it? And can i now start LST? or should wait a bit?

You can start lst'n pretty much whenever your ready just be careful in the young seedling days. Its best to start em young Good karma to you and your SLH. IMHO I would lay low on the nutes till at least week 3 of veg just keep up with fresh cool water and they will treat you nicely let them form a good root system and nice structure before you nute them and make sure u ween them onto nutes as well at least that's what i do before i just rape em with full force nutes. More nutes does not mean more growth your more then likely to hurt them then help them good luck bro

they fine, it`s just because hps is turn on, i try to take a good photo before hps, start very bright. Look at that photo)( i download)
Man common, all of these formulas is absolutely stupid in my opinion, only TDS can show you the real situation. For example someone advice me some "Secret Formula", like 2ml of these, 3 ml of that, but every fertilizer is not the same even if it`s from one factory... for someone in same concentration it will be one ppm for other different ppm, the only way i think you can control the water is by using tds meter.

My formula is)

Sativa:
begining 150-250ppm 5.3-5.5 ph
early vegetation 200-350ppm 5.3-5.6 ph i start with that 330 ppm
medium vegetation 350-500ppm 5.4-5.6 ph now in these 450 ppm
late vegetation 500-650ppm 5.5-5.7 ph
preflower 700-800ppm 5.5-5.7 ph
Flowering 800-900ppm 5.5-5.8 ph
Flowering end phase 600-750ppm 5.5-5.7 ph
Ripening 200-300ppm 5.4-5.6 ph

So today i made a photos without hps, what do you think?) it`s normal? today is 9 day of vegetation (18 day from seed). Plan to to lst my plant in next few days.

I'm bout to do slh too but with 1000w scrog. Tell me how it goes. I'm germinating my seeds now

i will continue that topic so you can observe, but it`s my first grow and i can`t quarantee that everything will be great and fine i hope people here will give advices to me)

You know i`am so angry for formulas))because one man in the grow shop, when i buy the nuts give me with very clever face one formula and it get a big overdose to my plant(it was before with WW, bad seeds(mutants) i stop growing them) when i check the water by tds it was like 900 ppm)))but in this formula the dosage was for begining, early when veg.) so i trust only my TDS, i just take from formula a proportion and then calculate the right dose by TDS. For example Formula recomends to use 6 ml micro, 8 ml gro, 10 bloom, i will start from 3 ml micro, 5 ml gro, 7 ml bloom)) and check with TDS) so the proportion in formula maybe right but the dosage is better to estimate with using TDS.
I use GHE(Micro, GRO, BLOOM, Diamond nectar).

And pls advise me, what should i do now? LST before i set the SCROG net, or it`s better to start bending, when i set the SCROG on my plant(without bending before i put the net on my plant)?

You can bend before the plants hit the screen to make the plant bushier before it hits so it would fill faster. I would top as well to get more branches faster too cause that would make the training faster as well. How big is your screen again

Mines will be 4'x8'
