Super Lemon Haze--First Hydro Grow

The Epsom salts i use to flush/leach when i get lock out the cal mag i had read about but never used before never had to but i'm using it now because of yellowing and slow growth
 
I think Epsom salt would be better in a situation where you know you have Mag def. If you don't need the extra Calcium then why add it? This grow looks good, I'm particularly interested in the SLH, Im growing something stretchy right now, almost thinking I should do a scrog before its too late. Guess you could pretty much grow even the stretchiest strain around if you use a scrog! hmmmmmm
 
I'm going to give the epsom salt a try 2moro and hope it does the the trick iv read up on the net about it and 1 tablespoon to a gallon of water should do the trick I'll update in a few day with pics to see how it turns out:peace:

This is my first scrog mate but I'm really happy with the results so far.its definitely worth a try all I hope is that it pays off when it comes to harvest:peace:
 
after watering with epsom salt my plants are starting to improve very fast so hopefully thats it sorted out i'll update in a few days with some pics :peace:
 
I also just used epsom salts in my nutes yesterday, bought some Cal/Mag to add to the arsenal if needed as well.
I noticed in one picture it looks like your not fully soaking the coco with your SLH, so you are just adding a bit of water to the pot and obviously not getting runoff doing that. Is that how you always water? If so what kindof ppm's do you use? Im doing 10% or more runoff with every watering and using high ppm's around 1100ppm in veg, but I'm sure you can't get away with that if your doing no runoff.

Edit: ohhh ok your soil now eh!? haha thought this was hydro. Checked out some of the earlier pages, looks like you almost lost the SLH early on, maybe it was because the pH was so high all the time, odd that it wouldnt stay down. It's good to see how much your SLH bounced back after that near death, maybe it was just the HPS lighting but it sure looked pale. Gives me reassurance that my plants will still have good vigour even after all the crap I'm putting them through, Giving them a long veg too. Your grow sure has transformed from the beggining, do you plan to take another swing at hydro?

thanks mate yea it was rough at the start but its going ok now i'm definatley going to try hydro again.once this grow is over i'm going to try my waterfarm again:peace:
 
After seeing your setup I ordered Pineapple express. I wish I had the ability to scrog, that is something I will have to work on.

the scrog is super lemon haze and the other plant is pe but i do really like the look off the pineapple epxress for a scrog in the future some time.i'll check your thread out now :peace:
