believe me you need buds not leaves.. that's exactly what I've read too.. just watch out trimming more than 1/3 of the plant's total leaves to avoid shocking it.. the leaves that are covering areas where there are flowers popping out are the ones to target..
this moment, I did some training and lollipop the bottom, and remove leaves that's cover flowers, cover the flowers, that's all I had done.

I think he started with 20w and is now using 400w
I start with a 16w, then switch to a 40w red and blue led light, then an 80 w red and blue led light, that's the first and half month, then when the plant grows to 2 feet tall, my 80w dead, I use the 16+40 for 4 days and wait for the 400w. and when 400w arrive I turn it to like 70-80%, and only 14-16 inches away from the top, they got light stress and heat stress.. (PAR over 2000..), after I download the par measure app, now only turn on around 50%, PAR in the center is 900-1000 and side is around 600-700. I hope it goes back to the right track. but if it is an auto, will it be too late, its 3 months now and flowering 2 weeks from now. very less white hair and some of the white hair has brunt tail.

Wow, that picture from underneath the plant looks amazing. Maybe a little leafy, but nothing some defoliation can't solve. If she's flowering like that under 20/4 then I'd keep her on that (or maybe drop her to 18/6) because she must be an autoflower of some description and therefore the more light the better. She looks sativa dominant from the leaves. She does look like she's at about maximum leveles for nitrogen, and there is some slight sign on nutrient burn on the tips of the leaves - so go steadt with nutrients for the next couple of waterings. Keep up the good work! You're doing well!

thats a great light, but be carefull how close you keep it from the top of your grow, led can burn your plants fast. look around the site for that light and see hpw far away to keep it. looking good happy growing

thanks very much for your advise, you are right , i think i had over feeding them, from now on i will just go for water when need. I also think it is a bit leafy too, it is better to trim off the biggest leaves?

yes, i didn't notice and had heat and light stress in beginning. i had the wrong tent, only 5 1/2 feet tall, so now it's about 16-18 inches away from the top of the plants. I turn it to only 40%, the center spot is around 1000-1200 and the edge around 6-700. I had my tent outdoor and temperature is around 16-23, hope has enough CO2

Hi everyone, I wish you all great harvesting. so this is my story. I have 0 experience of growing anything, a couple of months ago my friend give me a bag of seeds, which he collected one by one from his buying, so I just try to grow, and the first seed was already successful, so I brought a Philip 20 Watts LED grow light blub and it growing slow but healthy, meanwhile, I start learning from youtube and googling how to grow cannabis, I had topping it couple times, and then when it grows bigger, I bought a 2.5 x2.5 grow tent with a 400 watts grow light, after 3 months, now it looks like flowering? I only try the light schedules 24/0, 20/4, so I guess it's an auto? very less white hair, and the end show brunt. I hope it will flower better later on, does anyone know if it is auto and what kind of breed? any suggestion would be appreciated.

wish all you guys have a nice weekend, thanks for the valuable advice and comments. just an update, I just do the last trimming and see if leaves are covering the flowers and some flowering which not going to reach the top. I will also switch the light to 18/6. I have fertilized PPK 5-8-2 and seems a bit over Nitrogen, so from now on just water when need. Maybe update again after 3 weeks, hope that time I can show you guys some results260162801_641505280355084_1404253939735231965_n.jpg260593902_1013975002511282_4386706921487052484_n - 複製.jpg.

Hi everyone,

Wish you all well during the weekend, and wish you all great harvesting. just to update my plant after 2 weeks. It's almost stayed the same, the flowering is not impressive after 2 weeks, not sure it's normal. temperature and humidity are perfect now, so I don't worry about mold or pests, should I remove more leaves? will the leaves take away the energy of the flowers or more leaves help better flowering? And if i should trim away more leaves, how much leaves should I trim away?
