Super noob so forgive me for my lack of knowledge.

I started out with six lovely ladies early this spring. I knew the sex because they were clones. Once they got to about 3' tall around mid July, my lawn care company decided to spray them down and they murdered them all. Guess who got fired the next day? Onward. I started over with a random dank seed and it has become a nice little girl. It has flowered out nicely so far. I had a problem with some leaves turning yellow but I added some nitrogen and that problem is now gone. I have been using FoxFarm super bloom once a week with a little kicker if it rains too much. Here are a few pictures of what I have. Keep in mind that I have no idea what the strain is. Can you experts tell if I am near harvest or if I need to let it ride for a longer period?

First image is one of the murdered plants. Next three are from today. Final potted image was last week. The pot has an inch of drainage stones at the bottom.

the look good to me, but still seem to have a bit still to go before they're ready.. when they get closer the pistils, hairs, will recede back into the buds and the buds will swell up a bit more indicating that they're near ready..
i'd say you still have a good 3 or so weeks left on them easily... they look great other wise, just need some more time is all.. :D

Thanks for the help. You hit the time frame correctly. I just found some of my older pictures and my plant started to flower 9/10/12. Any guesses as to what I am growing? I may just call it Milf after my favorite show.

lol. I dont kill my own plants. Do you think I am some kind of masochist? I have minions do that for me. They had orders to kill the weeds....in my lawn. Not the weed in my garden.

Just ordered a 30x magnifier so I can read the tris.

What made you think of the nitrogen deficiency regarding the yellowing leaves, compared to something more common(?) i.e. excessive nutes? Just curious

Miss Pawnsworth,
I did some searching on this forum and thought I saw the same type of yellowing in the results that I had in my plant. When I use nutes I always stay on the side of caution and use less nutes than what is required for the volume of water. I would rather the plant experience almost the ideal state rather than over the ideal and have the leaves burn or have the plant die. The nitrogen I used did the trick in under a week. When they did turn yellow they had been on FoxFarm SB for about three weeks. FF does not have a significant level of N-P-K to start with so I figured it was lack of N instead of excessive other.

Thanks to racerboy71 for your help
Thanks to charface and allen bud for the compliment.

Any time.:-)
Mss pawnsworth, what made you say over nutes? theres not even a slight sighn of that. with this plant being sativa domanant any slight over nute and first thing she whould do is get masive claw leaf. and the color for this point in flowering is near perfect.
Just wondering.....

Racerboy71 I shall call of the minions... LOL No I did not take that personally. I thought it was pretty funny.

Meanwhile back at the Hall of Trees...
Worthington Worm had infiltrated the fortress. He began his wretched destruction by eating one of my buds. He began at the bottom of the bud and munched a few leaf stems causing them to change color and fold which sent out the alarm to the Stooper Friends. Fortunately Sally Serum Spray was at hand and she unleashed a protective mist which knocked Worthington Worm out of fortress. Professor Green Thumb was unable to save the bud. The top half was severed and the bottom half was used as Worthington's toilet.

True story. Is the top half of the bud worth drying out and smoking? It is covered with crystals but it is starting to smell like hay.

Update for those that enjoy a nice update. First picture is the worm and the "natural" solution. Second is the worm and his decoration on the bud. Third and fourth are just buds. The last image is a plant that is only a foot tall. I made a clone out of one of the cuttings and it is flowering like its mother. Kinda funny to see a foot long bud with no branches. Is it possible to pluck the buds on the small plant and return it to a veg state indoor for the winter months? I know I would loose some of the thc value by not harvesting it correctly. My plan is to keep cloning the clone and have a nice set of plants for next spring. As always I appreciate the help.

ps. I dried the top of the bud that the worm ate. I gave it to a friend and they told me they were blown away by it. Two hours if you know what I mean.

So I am having an issue with my large plant. It seems like it might be dieing but the leaves all look good. The main branches are having a hard time supporting themselves. Not sure if it is the weight of top buds or if the plant is weak. I have inspected the main stems and they all look good. The soil has not dried out ever. I had to use yarn and tie the branches of to keep them standing.

So just to update. Everything turned out quite nicely. The plant was not in distress, it was just getting really fat buds that weighed her down. I waited until I had a nice mix of tri's and then harvested her.
