i love SSH. Nice grow! I eventually want to do a closet grow but not hydro. i cant wait to see your harvest.!!!

thx dood, i know man i cant wait till shes done theres already trichs everywhere and she still has 5 or 6 more weeks, but i thought about it and i don't think my shit is hydro, i mean my medium is 95% hydroton and the rest is a small layer of soil on top, so im really not to sure what you would consider that to be. this is a new experiment for me as stated at the very beginning and so far so good although to be quiet honest it would be much more convenient to have a real hydro set up dwc to be specific which is why i am gonna buy one off of ebay pretty soon here, but as for now ill stick to what i'm doing, here is quick pic of my white widdow mother i have outside

yea if you got that soil you don't even need to add nutes, it already has good shit inside it worm castings, bat guano fish emulsion all that good shit the plants eat, i got one 125watt full spectrum daylight CFL and one 42watt cfl putting out an orangish spec all together i got around 11,000 lumens on those 2 plants

ahhh gotcha.. So only 2 bulbs worth 167w? Just asking because I have about 400w and have the bulbs equally divided (half 2700k half 5500+k) and Im thinking whether or not to keep it that way for flowering or go more towards the red spectrum.. If I dont buy an HPS for flowering..

Yep just 167 watts, a plant needs 2,000 lumens per square ft or some bullshit like that i got 11,000 lumens which should be enough for just 2 plants in that small space. if you have 400 watt worth of cfl you should be good, the most important thing is positioning the light as close as you can to the foliage without burning it. I put my lights super close and have a fan constantly blowing so theres a nice breeze cooling the lights and the plants themselves not creating any heat stress, but at the same time getting all those lumens on to my plant which is key. I would just leave it the way you have it, i have done previous cfl grows with mixed lighting just like you have and still had good results in the end, just remember to try and keep the whole plant surrounded by light thought the whole grow and you'll be fine
