was wondering I have some super soil that has been cooking for about 2 or 3 weeks I was gonna try sub cools 7 gal pot method with water only and was wondering if it I filled half of each container with super soil and other half with base would the super soil be properly cooked and broken down by the time the roots hit it. I would be transplanting clones from a aero cloner. or should I just transplant them into one gallon base pots and wait for the super soil to cook for another 2 or 3 weeks?

Have you been measuring the soil temp? I think once the temps drop down it is probably done. More opinions needed.

I'm also a big compost maker / user.
I wouldn't expect super soil to be any different.
I find taking a big handful, and feeling the texture is the best. Then if the texture checks out, I give it a good smell.
If it smells like dirt / humus, then it's ready to go.

No sour smells, or clay like texture allowed.
