I can't speak from personal experience but I can share wih you what I've read and learned. Super soil is organic, and relies on organisms small and large to deliver nutrients to your plants roots. The comparisons I've seen, as far as yield is concerned, the synthetic / semi-synthetic wins everytime. The plants are on steroids. Good organic anything that I've had, has always yielded a little less, but made up for in quality and taste and smell and feel. And yeah, proper super soil just requires water.
