New to this...So I pinched and bent everything down about 4 days ago and it looks great. But where I bent two of the stems its brown and looks like it is hanging by a thread, but still growing like it should, what should I do, or I guess will it be fine?
Woody stems are past the point to supercrop safely. They tend to be brittle and have a tendency to snap, as yours probably did. If you can get the "green" parts of the broken stem to mate up and wrap with duct tape, it's possible it will heal, but may not be worth it.

I'm sure you picked up from the taunting comments above that this wan't the best technique to use at this stage. Green stems only, and at least 5 leaf nodes.

Haha, ya you were a bit rough on them. I'd just leave it, dont fuss over it any more. Might lose a branch, but the leaves are not wilting, so the plant should recover, cannabis is a pretty resilient. I almost broke a main stem completely in half supercropping, was only hanging by a few threads of plant fiber, and she healed and recovered in not too long. Lesson learned.

I swear I saw this in the last episode of the walking dead I watched. Screenshot_20201216-084017_Chrome.jpg

You might lose that branch. As long as it isn't an auto you will have time to regrow some of it out.

Man I knew better but did it anyways, thanks for the input it seems fine but them stems are ugly as hell, thanks!

Damn yea looking at that picture close up it looks like hell, its just weird because its growing just fine, a weed is a weed though, ill just leave it alone for a while and let it do whatever it will do

This is a total experiment lol I'm doing 6/2 lighting (led) in a 2x2x3, trying to keep it horizontal as much as possible, being impatient is my issue, I've pretty much done everything to it lst, croped, topped. May be a dumb idea but we shall see

Just leave it alone. If the leaves are not wilting then they are being supplied with what they need. It will eventually heal up and become knotty where you supercropped.

I've done some pretty radical cropping on some large plants that were so tough I had to use other methods than just my fingers to bend them down.

FWIW I tried it years back and saw no benefit whosoever apart from evening out the canopy which like a poster above says just screen it.

I'd wrap the wound in blue masking tape if you have any around. Otherwise it looks like it will heal fine. Now you know better. Everybody looses a branch now and then.

It's similar to topping in that it causes lower branches to grow more without actually losing the top of the plant. It's my goto method of training. I'm not saying it's the best but it works for me. I have no desire to fool around with training a plant through a screen as I grow smaller plants with a short veg time for a faster turnaround. I'm not in to long vegging and training. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it and I have definitely seen some rather exceptional grows trained that way. My style of growing is just different and works for the goals I'm trying to achieve.

If it wasn't for plant count all my grows would be small plants in a SOG style with no training of any kind. Just let the plants grow into one big cola.

All that really matters in the end is if you fill up your jars. :blsmoke:
