Problem solved! First time I've tried this bulb. I've gone with mostly Hortilux and the last one I got was an Agrosun (current). I know I'm way past due for replacement. I got a little lazy once I started my perpetual because I didn't have a regular cycle so to speak. Gonna try to replace every 4-5 months from now on. Hope this helps to tighten them up. The organics I use have kelp in them - Buddha Bloom so hopefully that helps :leaf:

Also got a new piece last weekend and a pic of a bottom bud of the KF half way through drying. Dry already so I can smoke you!

Either or, depending on what stage you're in. Baddass claims to stay within 1% of maximum lumen output for the first 6 months. If it doesn't you can send it in and have it replaced for free. If the bulb falters from a manufacturing error it's a 2 year warranty. Either send it in for replacement or for a full refund of MSRP.

I almost went with the Digilux but I found out Baddass made bulbs so I had to go with them. You made a good choice with Digi... :clap:
 
I only run one bulb in my 4 x 4 flower box so dual spectrum is not an option. The Digilux claims to have a superior blue spectrum, but who is to know if it is true. The graph on the box shows a much better blue and green spectrum but what the fuck does that mean? Jack shit. lol. I pondered adding a CMH but invested in some LED units instead. I will def look into the Badass bulbs for the next purchase! Thanks Dubbz!

The Red Diamond is the HPS and Blue Diamond is the MH by Baddass, not a dual spectrum. I wasn't sure how you were planning to run it, just figured I'd give ya my opinion on a good bulb :) Aren't LED's expensive?

Right I gotcha... I run perpetual so my veg box is T5 with blue kelvin, I run nothing but red in my flower box currently, except 4 x T5 4' tubes for lower canopy lighting attached to the side walls, nothing with intensity to speak of.

Yes LED's are pricey, I purchased 4 x 180 GLH Spectras which retail at about 500 each that I want to try in my 4 x 4, should be a nice footprint. The spectrum is unbeatable on paper and the energy usage is much more efficient as it turns more of the power into light as opposed to heat. They're pretty, I haven't ran them yet though.... Just followed journals with good results to base my purchase off from.

That sounds pretty sweet, but expensive. What's the average life span on those? I'd like to see some pics when you get them set up!

Hairy mother fucker; you, not the KF. haha. That piece is bad ass dude, and digilux is the fucking shit. I would like to try that badass bulb though, I heard good things about the ballast.

They're supposed to last for 10+ years according to the manufacturer. I think they claim 14 years.

Ahahaha, I am a hairy mother fucker! I think the new bulb will make a huge difference I should not have waited that long to replace it, almost feel stupid! Thanks for the compliments on the piece, it stood out when I saw it. Broke her in last night with a fat bowl of El Monstre and some bubble hash on top. Fuckin' pipe burned for what seemed about a half hour and everyone had to quit lol. I could only hand 4 hits. Still some left in her. Everyone was stupid silly and asking wtf was in the pipe. I'm thinking her name will be Poison Frog or something along those lines.
 
Man you always make me want to go buy new strains! That El Monstre sounds danky dank. I'm not to envious of the hash, I mean, I do love good bubble hash, but I'm sitting on a pile of hash already. Are you pounding out the dry ice hash yet or what? 15 minute hash. You can name your pipe Toad, and next time someone comes over ask them if they want to get high off toad.
 
Ahahaha, nice Jozi... Definitely try the El Monstre. I'm putting another one in soon! I'm not usually a big hash guy either because it fucks me up so bad but it makes for an awesome bowl blazed out on top. The flavor is so fuckin awesome. Although I will tell you first hand that its a bad idea for casual environments because most people are not used to the potency..... But you already knew that LOL. For the time being, her name is poison dart frog and she will always have a dose of oil, kief or hash in her. I will ask my bro Chav if he wants to get high on toad next time he is over hahahaah. I haven't made the dry ice hash yet but I want to baaaaad. Wedding today and next weekend but I would love to squeeze it in on a weekday if I can. Hope you're having a good weekend bro!

Oh snap, I'm having a good weekend but not as good as you. Congratulations and have fun. I'm just enjoying a quiet evening at home with some margaritas myself. But my favorite thing to do in this world is get my friends too high, gets my rocks off. I've been smoking straight has for almost a week now so my tolerance just went from way low to way high. I was cutting back a lot, maybe a snap or two a day, but when I ran out, I started smoking mad hash as soon as I made it.

I'm damn impressed at how well I was able to post after 12 hours of partying yesterday lol. I love quiet evenings at home, its how I like to roll these days. And getting my friends too high is also one of my favorite things to do! Digging on the hash lately. My buddy that puked and pissed himself last night... Prolly not so much! lol

Hahaha, there is always that guy at the wedding, huh? I also love fucking with my friends when they are hung over as fuck in the morning, the funniest thing that ever got someone to throw up immediately was "Hey, would you eat a Pickle Pie??" which was a quote stolen from a Chuck E. Cheeses commercial. He had just woken up and crawled out onto the lawn, he was in bad shape, blew up everywhere, fucking hilarious.

God dammit, I need to chop down the Blue Dreams right now but nobody is down the help me trim. I don't want to trim a hp by myself tonight, I only have a 6 pack to suck down. I need to be pretty damn drunk to sit in place for 3-6 hours.

Jozi is not a fan of edbassmaster! This guy cracks me up lol. Do half tonight and half tomorrow dude! I scored some dry ice tonight gonna do the hash up this week if I can find the time to prep the trim. Need to get rid of my trim to make sure I stay in my limits.

Any recommendations for oil extractors? Capacity, brand, etc.?
 
Honey Bee is the only extractor I have ever seen being used, but have never dealt with it myself. And no need to prep trim for dry ice hash. It's best dry or cured, but wet or frozen works well too.

It's funny man, but it gives me crazy anxiety, I can't take shit like that. I never liked "Doug" as a child either.

I grabbed a 40 gram capacity unit off from eBay with some extra screens and a couple containers. Went with Vector quintuple filtered butane. Will let you know how it works out!
